i am not gonna say sancho doesnt have any mental health problems. none of us can possibly know whats going on behind the scenes. but ETH took him out of the spotlight last season, supported and defended him, eased him back in and gave him plenty of chances. sancho has done fuck all with his chances and after his stupid social media post last night he can go and do one. if reports are true, ETH wanted him out this summer but once again the board failed him. we needed a midfielder (as ETH pointed out in his interview). they got him one on fucking deadline day, so he wasnt available to play the arsenal game. maguire is still here, despite the manager clearly not fancying him.
on the game: i think we played well, considering our shit situation. we were the better team up until the dissallowed garnacho goal. once that happened and we had to make do with maguire and evans, it was done. maybe i'm in the minority here. but i wasnt discouraged by yesterdays game. it hurts a lot, some horrible referee decisions but we deserved to win that game.

Wasn't even reviewed either. Pathetic. I saw a similar vid on Twitter and it was a blatant penalty. Evans was clearly fouled for Rice’s deflected goal too. The minute that penalty for Arsenal was correctly overturned, we were fucked. Without a doubt. Its like an eye for an eye. Funny how nothing has been made of any of the decisions going for us. The minute they go against us it's headline news. Although it's no longer surprising its still annoying, especially in a game where we didn't actually play that badly all things considered.

I think back to the early 80's, when I first started supporting United as a young kid, and try to think of any players throughout the 80's, 90's, and 00's that I hated. Or even just disliked. And can't think of any. Sure there were players who simply weren't good enough. Darren Ferguson, Lee Martin, Russell Beardsmore, Danny Wallace, from the early days. Kleberson, Liam Miller, David Bellion, Gabby Obertan, Bebe, from the later days. But I didn't hate any of them, they tried their best, weren't at the level we needed and moved on. Such is football. But now? From Maguire, to Sancho. Pogba and Martial. Greenwood. Henderson. Utterly dislikeable individuals the lot of them. Says so much about where the club has been heading that we've had so many of these type of players stinking the place out. I 100% see what you mean but in fairness it’s a completely different world. I guarantee some of the lads you mention got up to some horrible stuff but got away with it because there were no smartphone cameras or social media websites.

Not to mention parallax. Why not have the viewing angle exactly in line with the striker and defender. Viewing it from behind them is just stupid.

Spot on
🚨🚨🎙️| Ben Foster on Jadon Sancho’s actions yesterday:
“If Sir Alex Ferguson is the manager, and Jadon Sancho does this, he will never see the light of the day again for #mufc. He’ll never play for the club, he’ll never be allowed in the training ground.”

He was ruthless yes but he also didn’t enjoy discussing internal issues with the media.

Not that I want to dismiss the fact he may be dealing with MH issues. But it annoys me with this generation that a run of poor games and its instantly pushed towards that direction with no other thought . Nothing about the fact it could simply be down to just not be putting the required effort in or.just not being as good as we hoped they'd be. Seen it with so many players over the last few years.
These players are just too soft and pampered. The moment shit doesn't go their way they throw the toys out. Far too many excuses get made for the same players and I'm done with it now.

As the media have pointed out this is a longstanding pattern with Sancho. He was kicked off a pre-season tour when he was at Manchester City for skipping training sessions. At his first season at Dortmund he was demoted to the reserves for repeatedly being late for training. Later on in his Dortmund career he was suspended for returning late from England duty. He trained poorly for England and sulked when he was left out of the team. And clearly Erik wouldn't have taken the extraordinary measure of sending him for a 3 month training camp in the Netherlands if something wasn't amiss.
Maybe he does have mental health issues. But when you are on £350k a week and part of a team supported by millions you have to be professional. And there is a longstanding pattern of unprofessional behaviour throughout his career. At Dortmund they clearly indulged him because he was performing. But he has already had some special treatment here and had plenty of minutes for us to prove himself and is spitting in Erik's face.
Unfortunately we missed the opportunity to dump him this summer. So I really do not know what we do with him now. Probably the best thing is to get him a loan move in January to a smaller club in a weaker league where he can enjoy being a big fish in a small pond again and then sell him off to a club that is willing to indulge him and guarantee him a starting place.

They are making too much money. Players of the past were not financially secure by their mid 20s like this lot today. Money is absolutely destroying football and there's no greater example than this club.

Money is absolutely destroying football and there's no greater example than this club. There’s definitely a huge element of that. But we as a club seem to be useless at any effective due diligence (as a few have pointed out here). Apparently we spent 2/3 years “monitoring” Sancho. A quick google search shows he has been a stroppy fuck at two previous clubs and for England. How on Earth did they not uncover that, and if they did was there nothing in place to watch the twat like a hawk from day one? The culture has slowly rotted away at this club, like the stadium. We’re a magnet for hangers on, happy to wallow in mediocrity at £200k a week. It all started with the Glazers and it can only end with them.
