Call it rewriting history on Jose if you want but we’ve had 2 full-time managers since him and they have both looked totally out of their depth.
The football hasn’t improved and we’ve become easier to beat/play against since he left.

I'm not ready to jump on Ten Hag because although hes been helping himself imo there are bigger problems. He needs to drop Rashford for a start. He's been fucking awful this season. Shoots when he should pass, pass when he should shoot, his decision making is dreadful. I defended him a lot last season but looks likes hes pulled the wool over a lot of people's eyes. We can replace Ten Hag tomorrow, this time next year we'll be back at the same crossroads with another manager. Lack of effort, heart, determination, call it want you will. They're all guilty of it. |

First game in a while that I simply didn't even plan to watch (all things considered), but this is a big statement. |

You could always see what the plan was with him too. It wasn’t pretty but he had the tactical nouse to get results. ETH is massively lacking in ideas. Rarely looks like we have a gameplan and subs are basically always like for like.

And i must point out that I’m not expecting us to win leagues and compete with City under this ownership but we’re just about managing to compete with the likes of Sheff Utd and Burnley in matches so far this season. It’s incredible how far off we look. |

He's spent enough money to get this squad playing better than it is. Injuries haven't helped either but can't use that as an excuse for some of the performances. This is what I mean by learning from mistakes. He needs to wake up and change things before ots too late because most of these players won't give a shit. They'll hide behind another managers sacking. Drop half of them if need be. |

Yeah hard to make excuses for Erik when we've spent almost £400m on the players that he wanted and selected. Maybe we haven't always been able to buy top quality because we have too many positions we are trying to fill and not enough funds and not enough pulling power and we've been limited to players that Erik is familiar with as we don't have a proper transfer chief. But with the backing he's had and his coaching abilities you would at least expect us to be playing better football and not struggling to beat crap teams every week.
