Considering McSauce had his back to the player I dunno how high feet was given, never a pen, justice served. Ridiculous decision, never touched the player at all. When it went to VAR I thought ‘thank god, sense will prevail’ but oh no.

The penalty that should have been given wasn't even reviewed and the penalty that was, was reviewed but shouldn't have been given.
VAR is a fucking mess and could have easily cost us. Absolute joke.
Made up for Onana and actually happy for Maguire aswell, been decent last few games so deserves some credit.
Wins a win but it was such laboured bollocks again.

I think at this point you have to give credit to players who actually seem to care and can be bothered. So fair play to Maguire and Scotty for taking advantage of the opportunities they've had this year thanks to injuries and poor recruitment.
And the win was vital because if we'd drawn then we would be bottom of the group which is not a good look with Jim looking to get stuck in and make changes.

Just got back and fuck me that pen save papers over cracks the size of the Grand Canyon. Some of these players have obviously downed tools and/or are being poorly coached. On a side note it was good to see Alex Stepney walk out for the tribute just before kickoff as my first game ever at OT was a 1-0 over Birmingham City 50 years and 4 days ago(20/10/73) and he scored the winner with a penalty. 2 goalkeepers wining matches 50 years apart. look at our line up back then. www.11v11.com/matches/manchester-united-v-birmingham-city-20-october-1973-82219/

Manager needs to go,he's had 18 months & if he knows what the plan is,nobody else seems to know. Abysmal.

We got rid of Fred yet McTominay still starts with Erickson and a new 50 million pound new transfer sat on the bench. Then the no longer captain slabhead starts ahead of Lindelof who despite his faults is the superior player. Rashford and Bruno remain undroppable . That’s all on him.

Ridiculous decision, never touched the player at all. When it went to VAR I thought ‘thank god, sense will prevail’ but oh no. When I saw him pointing at the spot again, I couldn't believe it. These are massive decisions. How does he not take another look at that? I fancied Onana to save it, Martial for once did something useful scuffing up the penalty spot. The performance was pretty awful but we just need results to keep our qualification hopes alive. We probably need to win the next 3 to qualify.

Scholes is absolutely right here, even the Youth teams are poor, massive clear out and restructuring needed.....
Paul Scholes has slammed the Glazer family for Manchester United’s decline, saying: ‘The only thing world class at the club is the history.’
The United legend is hopeful however that Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s partial takeover of the club can revive their fortunes, though there is a lot of work to do.
The British billionaire is set to buy a 25% minority stake for around £1.5billion, which will see him largely take control of the club’s football operations.
Ratcliffe had hoped to complete a full takeover, but the Glazers’ are determined to retain control, much to the fury of fans and former United stars who are desperate to see the back of their ownership.
The Red Devils have declined heavily since the American family bought the club in 2005, with the side no longer a dominant force on the pitch, while their facilities pale massively in comparison to their rivals in England and beyond.
Discussing Ratcliffe’s impending arrival, Scholes told TNT Sports: ‘He’s got a lot do. This is a world class football club but it’s not behaving like it, it’s not performing like it.
‘From the first-team to the youth teams. I watched the U19s today – they got beaten by Copenhagen. It’s not right. ‘This is one of, if not the biggest club in the world, he has to change almost everything. The whole club is underperforming. It’s a massive job to come into!
‘But the fans won’t be happy. The fans don’t want the Glazers here. I reckon that 25% is eventually just a stepping stone for him taking control of the club.’
There have been rumours that should United’s poor start to the season continue, Ratcliffe could look to replace Erik ten Hag, but on that front Scholes still has faith in the manager, adding: ‘I think he’s the right man for the job.
‘I like him. He’s almost been thrown out the lions, left on his own to defend everything’

Rashford is going through an awful run of form. However, he was still miles better than Antony when he switched over to the right when Garnacho came on. How he keeps picking this guy is beyond me. Amad is close to returning and he better be given a proper chance, rather than ETH playing favourites.
It’s ironic too that given all the stuff spouted about Hojlund not being good enough for Utd, he already looks too good for this team. His movement is excellent as is the timing of his runs. Unfortunately for him, no one can cross the bloody ball or pick a pass. Put him in Liverpool’s team and he’d be close to double figures already.

Hojlund is suffering due to our failure to pair him with proper wingers, the type that focus on just beating their man and whipping a cross in.
We have so many "inside forwards" who invariably cut inside or look to overcomplicate things, and his movement ends up being wasted.

So let me get this right, Mctominay with 3 goals should be benched? Maguire should be benched for Evans or Lindelof albeit Maguire has done well. ETH is the problem.
I have heard it all now.
On a more realistic note, Antony is pathetic, get rid galore. This is where a competent DOF is needed as Antony should never have been purchased and not for the wild wild west sums we paid.

He's getting fed scraps at best and has nothing to work with. He's having to come back deeper just to get involved and even that he's doing better than most. Everyone around him has been so poor, Bruno included. Rashford just does look arsed. Defended him a lot last season but if this is the attitude he's likely to have this season then he can fuck off aswell. Antony just isn't it. He'll have the odd decent game but overall he's just a poor signing that won't amount to any more of a player than he is now. I like Ten Hag and desperately want him to succeed. But he really isn't helping himself this season. Bangs on about standards yet he keeps playing the same shite week after week.

If as a fan you want to see us remaining rooted to exactly where we are then he starts. If you have any kind of standards he’s a bench player at best. Fellani was hounded for less. Watch his game and view it without’stats’. If we’re struggling to score goals then that’s on the manager who neglected that need.
