Hopefully it can give Erik a wake up call. What he is doing this season with the team isn't working. Scraping wins against Copenhagen and bottom of the table Sheffield United and somehow recovering from 1-0 down after 90 minutes against Brentford just indicates that luck is still on his side and at least some of the players haven't completely given up. But he needs to be a lot more pragmatic and find a system that gets the most out of the limited players at his disposal.

We all know it’s going to be more or less business as usual(the 90s Liverpool of today). |

If we want to beat city then the players have to do something they haven't done all season and that's play well collectively. Does anyone expect Rashford to put in a WC performance based on what we've seen recently or Bruno for that matter? If City turn up, then there's only one result. I hate being this negative before such a big game but it'll be easier if we get smashed. |
