There was a tiny little part of me that (foolishly) thought there was some brilliant plan that I had failed to see. You’re absolutely right though, it was just another ill-thought out reactive purchase with no underlying strategy. If he's a goal threat then why not play him there instead of useless Bruno? Playing in the engine room of midfield makes no sense to me because he can't press, tackle, pass or play that role at all. Tactically none of this makes sense. That has to be on the manager. Yep, he is basically a spare Bruno being played out of position. Also, I think I only like Onana of all these clowns pn the pitch right now. |
