Yeah Antony was available for like 50m wasn't he when we first wanted him, cue the panic buy from the club and us getting rinsed again after we lost those first few games. if we’d have paid 20m for him we would still have been rinsed. I would honestly prefer it if we had kept Dan James. Ajax made a deal with the Devil to get that from us, explains their form this season, he's clearly collected. |

The sad thing is that in over 60 years of supporting this club, I think I have stopped caring… I’m approaching 50 years of support but I’m n the same boat. I’ve stopped watching for one thing which makes it a little easier. My job has been made easier by a general waning of interest in football as a whole though. |

Last season we had a proper centre back pairing in Varane and Licha. A proper central midfield in Eriksen and Casemiro. Rashford was allowed to be our focal point in attack and hit a purple patch. And I think Erik was a bit more pragmatic in his first season playing to our strengths and not insisting too heavily on playing from the back or pressing from the front.
This season we've had defensive injuries. Casemiro and Eriksen have regressed. And none of the alternative combinations we've tried in midfield has worked. Rashford is no longer the focal point in our attack and he clearly doesn't like it. Bruno also seems to struggle to play with a target man the same way both he and Rashford were less effective when he had Ronaldo as a target man and focal point of our attack. And I get the sense that behind the scenes Erik is trying to change the way we play and it is contributing to disjointed performances and mass confusion on the pitch.
