Awful. There was a chance for Garnacho to square it for him for an easy tap in and he had a shot instead. Most of our problems come from awful decision making. Was just about to post this. We’ve been like this under the last four managers now, barring a couple of good runs under Ole, not creating enough/any chances. |

Unlike Jackson at Chelsea who doesn't move, this guys always on the move. Maybe they just ain't used to playing with a proper number 9 but surely it's easier to find him than trying to score on your own. |

Also find it embarrassing hearing the fans having the necessity to chant "attack". That's not a dig at the fans either. More so the fact these players can't even motivate themselves enough to do the basics.
If Ten Hag is going to stay he's got a lot of work that needs doing and some of it the players need to accept. All well and good talking about philosophy and character but you can't do it when your squad has no character in the first place.
Shit performance but a huge 3 points all things considered.

The “attack” chants coming out has been a feature at the end of every manager’s tenure since Fergie. Tell you what, Bruno’s not been firing for club this season, but without his winning goals we’d be about 16th in the league. |

Anyone see Erik’s post match exchange with Rio.
Erik’s blaming injuries saying that you need a consistent starting eleven to build chemistry and momentum. And with the chopping and changing the routines aren’t there. And he’s sure we will improve when we get players back.
It sounds plausible but problem with this line of argument is that most of our injuries have been in defence. And while we are conceding more goals than usual we’re not scoring many goals even with a fully fit forward line and of our midfielders only Casemiro is injured and he’s been poor all seasons
