Fucking hell, if this doesn't improve rapid we're fucked. We are approaching the halfway point of the season and to add to that defensive joke, which for me absolutely starts with a crap midfield and lazy dopey forwards, we have only scored 16 goals.

Matic interview was bizarre. £75k in fines over the course of a season is pocket change to these players. And using the proceeds to throw a party just makes the thing even more of a joke. And why was an internal disciplinary committee required? The manager should be sending players home who turn up late to training and docking their wages. Doesn't surprise me at all that Pogba and Sancho were namechecked. And says everything about the club that we blew £160m on two players who are totally unprofessional which would have been revealed by any half hearted attempt at due diligence.

It just highlights those 2 players care more about being cool in the public eye/social media than actually being a player that performs on the pitch. The one thing people could never say about Ronnie is that his off pitch persona never effected his on pitch performances. He put all the work in and plus some to make sure he was prepared. This brings another thought, my opinion of his departure has changed. I don't like the issues between him and ETH but he saw the club he loved not be what he knew it should be. |
