Thought we were better second half. Not as cavalier, but still creating without being so open.
Impressed with Garnacho. Positive all night, great ball for the winner.

Well played. Should have scored more however I'm not arsed. Need those 3 points more than anything. Many positives. Garnacho continues to be a nightmare for the opposition, Amrabats best game for United (which wasn't difficult) and I thought Reguilon was much more impactful than Shaw at left back. Better defensively in the 2nd after Lindelof went off and a couple for McTominay who makes much more of an impact as a box to box.
Good night's work and 3 points off the cheats.

Regulion has buckets of energy. Surely has to start when fit.

Fair play to Antony as well. Not even what he did with the ball. He worked his bollocks off and that's refreshing after Rashfords recent performances.

Garno’s energy was excellent that should keep Rashford out again for the next game.

He was better tonight but the only way I can describe Antony when he's got the ball is this...

Antony might be shite but at least he works his backside off for the team. He should start 100 times out of 100 ahead ahead of Rashford now.
Garnacho is frustrating and inconsistent, but he's also a teen. He is going to be a cracking player and we need to keep him starting on the left.
A new striker to take the pressure off Hojlund is needed, clearly.
Team is awful, goal difference is 0, massive problems, and yet 3 points behind City. Madness.

I won’t lie.. I didn’t know we were playing today.. which would never have happened in a million years a few seasons ago. Glad we won though.

Interesting MCT mentioned lighter training sessions and then they all looked full of energy today. Whatever the case we were well worth the win. Have to be consistent

Chelsea are a very poor side. Poch very lucky to be going largely under the negative media radar especially with the money that has been spent.

Amrabat made a big difference. Expectations are unreasonable because people know him from the World Cup so expect those kind of dominant performances. And he arrived late in the summer and was carrying an injury and had to start off as emergency left back and has been in and out of the team. But I was impressed by his performance against Galatasaray and last night. He reads the game well. He has a good passing range. He gives our midfield more stability and counterbalances the attacking instincts of Bruno and Scotty and he is a great professional. Casemiro is out until January and even when he is back I do not think he has the legs to play as a number 6. So I would like to see Amrabat given a proper run as a number 6 and I expect he will get better and better as the season progresses.
Garnacho was great. He can be frustrating but he has so much energy and troubles defences and unlike Rashford he can actually cross the ball. Again he needs a proper run in the side. With him, Hojlund and Antony putting in a proper shift our attack looked a lot better last night.
I was thinking about Rashford. His attitude sucks. But I think part of the problem is he is used to being the focal point of our attack. He was also very poor the season we had Ronaldo as our target man. And while he is not a striker he isn't a winger either and the winger-cum-forward role doesn't work when you have a target man. So the only role I can really see for him in the team is cover for Hojlund until we have the funds to buy another striker.

Apart from that shocking pass first half that could have led to them scoring Amrabat looked much better, needs to push on from here now.

This is more or less what i was going to post. Amrabat had his best game for us Garnacho is making that LW spot his own(still needs to work on his decision making as he matures) TBF Maguire had another good game so credit where it's due. Dalot and Antony work hard but they are just not good enough to be playing for any top level side(file with MCT(goals aside),AWB,VIC,Martial,Maguire etc.). Rashford came on for the last 15 or so and still looked his usual half arsed self. All the team put a shift in last night and it was a well deserved win(should have been 4-1) but before we get too carried away it was probobbally the worst Chelsea side i have seen in 20 years(even pre roman they where always a bit of a bogey team) and if we let Liverpool cut us open like they did in the first half we will be in for a bit of a hiding.

Great result, badly needed. If we can follow this up with a win vs Bournemouth we might have something to work with vs Bayern. Also, McTominay could have had a hat trick. Some on the Board would never have recovered
