ETH wanted MCT out, it didn't happen, he is scoring goals for us, move on! We all know his limitations, until someone steps up to replace him, crack on.....

Garnacho is giving Young Ronaldo vibes about his energy, aggression, and his wildness. He sees the job on the LW and he is try to grab it by the throat, but he is still unpolished with the going at goal when he should probably pass or taking on every player when he should look for better options. This is all the natural progression of a star player in the making so I'm ok with it. Just frustrating at times

I don't disagree with you, all I'm saying is many great sides have squad players that do a job when called upon. Fergie had loads. Don't mind if McT stays personally, but I don't want him starting every week unless he's delivering like that every week (because we'd need to be outscoring our opponents based on the open spaces in our midfield). We cannot be selling Mctominay while Sancho and Martial still draw a wage from this club. It's funny... The 2 players this group has hated the most Slabhead and McT are the 2 players giving everything to pull this club out of the shitter. Slabhead was the player of the month and McT has 5 goals in 8 matches right now. The players we need/want to lead are the biggest waste of talent we've seen in years.

The worst thing any player can do is think that they will succeed on talent alone, consistent hardwork needs to be added to the mix to get to 'great' status

*thirsty traveler in the desert* "That oasis basically only offers water, in terms of food and shelter it's an absolute shithole." A player that the manager wanted to sell bailing him out. Shows how desperate it’s got. The point is he’s a squad player. ETH like many before over estimated the abilities of the current incumbents and this is where we are. He's a squad player that's stepped up and is delivering where others aren't. Same goes for Maguire. They're earning their place at the moment. Who's said he's over estimating his abilities? Midfield wise were on the bare bones of our arse and he's taking his chance while he's in the side. This tunnel vision of hatred towards certain players really does cloud judgements. Good enough at the club or not they deserve a bit of credit when its due. The constant need to focus on negativity gets tiring.

We all know Maguire’s limitations but he’s been seen bollocking players for making mistakes recently, good on him it’s something Bruno doesn’t do.

Good win , but we were still far too open. Chelsea themselves had 3 or 4 good scoring chances. Garnacho was excellent and the team as whole had lots of energy and you could see the effort from everyone. Rashofrd and Martial should continue on the bench for a while. Hojlund's PL form is getting a bit concerning now , hopefully the goals will come soon. Tbf it's not his form that's the problem, it's his service. He's not getting the ball. I have faith that once that starts the goals will follow. Hopefully he'll keep the same XI going into the Bournemouth game and we'll see that starting to happen. Failing that I'll take his first premier league goal as an Anfield winner otherwise. 😏 True but he is a young guy ,longer this run goes more his confidence will be affected. For his sake and for our sake i wish he soon start scoring few in the league.

Ronaldo had wonderful teachers, Garnacho does not. Can't underestimate the help Ronaldo had. He was surrounded by people who told him straight and kept his feet on the ground. Ronaldo is also blessed with indestructible confidence. You need that.

He knew to get to where he wanted to get to he had to listen, his drive and hunger was 2nd to non. Sadly now, earning £200k plus is the goal.

ETH wanted to move Scott on and replace him, with a better player the move didn't happen and Scott has pushed on and is playing well and contributing, is he going to take us to the next level no, but he's in the squad and we dont have anyone better, I don't see what the problem is at all.
Until he is actually upgraded I would rather him in the team actually contributing then the likes of Sancho martial rashford ect who are just happy to take a wage and do fuck all.
Also reports saying Eth has lost the players well if that was true the likes of Maguire and Scott definitely wouldn't be putting a shift in, the only players he has lost will be the same players who have threw numerous managers before under the bus, I'd take 10 players like Scott over 10 rashfords.

Iv always thought there was good player in McT that with the right coach would eventually emerge, here’s hoping. At least he’s scoring a few.

The problem at this club is the standard has dropped so much that being "good" is an acceptable level. The bar needs to be raised and that's where McTominay's ceiling is reached. I've nothing against the lad, I like him, He clearly loves playing for the club which is great but there comes a time where that alone isn't enough. When the time comes I'll wish him well and hope he does well elsewhere but until then I hope he keeps doing what hes doing.
