Also these players are supposed to he professional footballer that have spent years playing the game. They shouldn't need coaching to do the basics. They should know where they are meant to be with or without the ball.
They can't even do that.

I'm tired of saying it... McTominay provides absolutely fuck all to this team. This match was winnable at the half, yes it was boring but all it took was something like our first goal to change it, but no....
ETH had to put on the useless excuse for a midfielder and give NF all the space in the midfield. Spent all his efforts trying to play striker or wondering around the edges instead of helping Erikson keep the shape of the team intact. He reasoning was mindless.... We didn't need Mainoo to bring any energy, just needed him to keep these twats from having open looks at our even more useless GK which he was doing.
I never want to see McTominay or Antony on the pitch again. I am so sick and tired of these 2 killing this team with the shit they do that just kills this teams week in and week out.... They aren't only reason but these 2 deserve to be sold to the lowest bidder. I would deny Onana's request to stay longer.... take your shit abilities to save shots on goal to the African Cup of Nations so someone else can step up.

Only viable option right now is Lopetegui. I don’t know much about him but I just don’t see who else can be called on. Potter only works if we have a clearout especially of the seniors and leave only the kids.
But I am tired of ETH, he pretty much disgusts me right now. You can’t keep coming out and saying we controlled a game blah blah. Mental tactical decisions Playing Antony when it’s clear he is absolute crap and all efforts should be made to get him to Saudi Arabia. Not playing Hugill List can go on.

2 games in January. If they wanna make a change, then this is the time Still need to ship out a whole bunch of players… Only a two prong approach has any chance of working…

I’d say there’s virtually no chance of a managerial change in January, given the upheaval already at the club. We’re going nowhere this season anyway and it’s unlikely the new manager bounce would do much as there are simply 4 teams that are much better than us. So the Champions League is done already.
The summer is obviously a different story.

I think this is a bit harsh given Antony never scores or plays well, so ETH never has the chance to apply this rule in the same way. For real though, he’s managing Garnacho in the right way there. Keeping his feet on the ground. They had issues with his attitude early doors, this is just the manager reminding him where he is in his career.

To be fair I thing the wider point is that Antony gets a soft ride from the manager. He simply ain’t good enough and the manager continuously plays him because he knows he pushed for him and the fee was crazy. If we paid the real the value the guy would be getting loaned out or sold in January

The summer is obviously a different story. We need a sledgehammer approach at this club, if we are gonna write off the season then best we do so with the knowledge we are building for a better future. We need mass sales in January and I hate to say it but we might need someone else at the helm. There are things ETH does that really make no sense to anyone but himself, I’d happily wager that every his own coaching team quietly question some of the decisions he makes.

He is awful, completely offers nothing in attack.

That would be a lot different to making a comment after Garnacho has had a good game.

Anyone even remotely involved in the Antony transfer that did not say, “We can’t pay this amount of money for him, it’s mental, let’s look elsewhere or develope what we have”, needs to be sacked. Might seem harsh but you simply cannot work with people that are that mindless that they don’t question how a players value doubled in 6 weeks, also how we valued him at £25 million a year earlier.

This is just completely unacceptable
Gary Neville at Valencia
• 28 games • 11 losses • 39 goals • 38 goals conceded
Ten Hag 23/24
• 28 games • 14 losses • 37 goals • 45 goals conceded
