I can’t fathom why there is still rumours of Southgate. If INEOS don’t want him they need to release an update regarding their review.
All United fans are crying out for an update and all are saying a hard no on Southgate. It’s probably the only think United fans actually agree on at the moment. The backlash would be enormous if he was brought in to replace ETH now.
So far I’m not impressed in the slightest with these owners

When's ETH back from his holiday? I'm guessing they would wait until then to say anything?
(Although it's United, so who knows what new depths we have yet to plumb when it comes to disfunction/incompetence?)

Don't get this notion of waiting for him to get back from holiday. what does it matter where he is in the world? Telling me they've said to Erik, we've made a decision, but we're going to wait until you're back in Manchester to tell you. Like when you've had a blood test at the doctor's, and they send you a letter saying they need to see you in person, only for you to go there and them tell you nothing is wrong despite you worrying all week you've got the clap*. *Never happened

Questioning the whole time if your gonna be getting sacked at the end of it

The new guys are a complete joke. So much uncertainty for a crucial period

Multiple reports saying Tuchel is taking a break from football after a meeting with Radcliffe left him feeling he wasn’t the leading candidate.
This is a disgraceful way to treat Ten Hag imo.

Yeah, INEOS are pissing away the early positivity. Pathetic how this hasn’t been sorted yet one way or the other. Completely hinders our prep for next season. How do you sell a club to a prospective signing with this hanging over us?

I can't imagine many top managers going along with the INEOS recruitment process. No serious candidate for the job is going to tolerate a demand for multiple rounds of interviews and a recruitment process spanning weeks or even months. Good for Tommy for walking away before he lost the job to Southgate.
Keeping Erik as a placeholder until they line up a suitable replacement may make business sense but it is hardly much of a vote of confidence if they end up keeping him because the managers they want reject them. All it will mean is a stay of execution for Erik and the players will know as soon as things go south or INEOS decide on someone they want better Erik will lose his job. That seriously undermines Erik's authority. Erik is a professional so will honour his contract but it doesn't exactly make for a harmonious working relationship between Erik and all the others. And other managers will be paying attention to this unfolding drama and figure if they accept the job they might get the same treatment down the line.
And what INEOS seem to forget is you do need a manager. So installing a puppet like Southgate won't work out very well. And neither will keeping Erik but giving him absolutely no say because he's just a placeholder until they get someone they like better.

These are the same guys who probably need a 2 month long review to understand Old Trafford is leaking. (Have they fixed it yet by the way ?)
Waiting for the government to fund their plans for a new stadium , openly (and proudly !) claiming we wont be in for an Mbappe or Bellingham and would rather find the next world class player, refuses to pay what is needed to get Ashworth from Newcastle.
And for all the talk of a streamlined vison going forward just look at the names of the managers linked with us - absolutely nothing in common and all of them (except Tuchel) unproven at the top level.
Only thing that they are acting decisively is when it comes to cutting down on wages across staff and players.
And now this embarrassing saga with Ten Hag , what new information are they hoping to discover with their 'season performance review'. Either put an end to all the speculation and say they back ETH or sack him and get the next guy in.
Everything they do screams 'cheap' to me to be very honest.

Looking like rank amateurs. I don’t think anyone outside Jim’s circle really knows what is going on. its all social media tickle tackle at the moment. It isn’t. The meeting happened according to multiple reliable sources. And if it’s just ‘social media tickle tackle’ why haven’t they come out with a statement backing him? It’s pathetic carry on. An awful look to their first serious involvement.

We can't even get ashworth sorted, I don't have much faith regarding the manager situation or buying players tbh, they haven't managed this well at all have they.
