I don't doubt they are speaking to other managers but in terms of the conversation stretty is correct, no one has a clue. But It's Manchester united so people will make things up to fill in the gap. Gabrielle Marcotti made a very valid point, who is to say that the INEOS have not been transparent with ETH to advise on what they are doing? We won a cup which is great but we were pathetic throughout the season, no clue, no style, lots of injuries, lots of mind boggling decisions on starting line ups etc. We might not like it and might all go about it in a different way, the key for me is getting the right outcome because we can't have another season like last season. I hope matters are concluded this week thus we can focus on the transfers

How long does it take to review? They should have been 100% on the sack train before the final. It's now more than 2 weeks after the final, can't they come to a decision in 2 weeks? Its United - papers will always be frothing at the mouth to make stuff up about us. That should be further incentive to close this chapter one way or the other. Quickly.

There’s only one we’re linked to who isn’t a free agent until the end of the year. If they’re willing to go there then they’re thicker than I’ll give them credit for.

Review is just a smokescreen. The delay is because they can't seem to decide who they want to replace Erik even though they've had months to consider potential replacements. They've shown very little confidence in Erik from the beginning and it is clear their preference is to bring in their own men. So it is really quite surprising that we aren't a lot more advanced in the process. By now we should have narrowed it down to a few names and then it should just be a case of holding a round of interviews, deciding who they like best, and making a job offer.
And the more this drags on the more I become convinced that Southgate is the man they want and he's being difficult refusing to make any kind of commitment before the Euros are over. Otherwise it simply makes no sense. Tuchel and Pochettino and Potter and De Zerbi are free agents. Frank is hardly going to refuse the job if offered it. McKenna has committed to Ipswich. Its a pretty uninspiring shortlist but how long does it take to have a few discussions and decide who you like best and make an offer? Unless their first pick is refusing to discuss his future until the Euros are over.

It’s as clear as day they want Southgate.

Where the fan engagement ? Where the fan groups talking to the club and asking what’s going on.
It’s a shambles and nothing has changed

Players also need to make it clear to INEOS that they don't want Southgate as manager. But they are probably either focused on the Euros or their summer holidays and therefore have their minds elsewhere.

Being paid for with the money saved on petty cash and by turning the OT lights out when empty.

SJR just did an interview and I really like this quote:
“There's room for improvement everywhere we look at Manchester United, and we will improve everything,” he said. “We want to be where Real Madrid is today, but it'll take time.”
It’s both ambitious and realistic and shows where he wants to take us…
We need to be patient and keep the faith…
Edit: the interview was with Bloomberg but I am having trouble pasting it here…

They are clearly asking the right questions. This is gonna take time and need some patience from the fans. I get the media making storms in tea cups and pretty much talking nonsense but my concern is that fans are piling in aswell and jumping at everything INEOS do. We need a new stadium, we need a better training ground, we need our facility taken to zero and that's before even looking at the main debt. We need players shifting, we need new players brought in, we need the medical department looked at....... etc etc INEOS have plenty to do and reality is they might make some mistakes. So far they are trying to make a proper decision on the stadium. They have out in their money to sort the training ground They have paid off some of the borrowing facility They have started to bring in structure on the football side of things (Ashworth pending) This summer they have a chance to make some in roads in player departures and acquisitions. People have to remember that this market might be tough due to lack of cash all round. Me personally, I will give these guys a proper chance, they cannot and will not undo 20 years of damage in 6 months! Just ain't happening.

Ratcliffe said it was "not (INEOS') intention" to sell Nice, and spoke about how he saw the Cote d'Azur club being able to develop players for United and also utilise their position within the European Union to sign promising U18 footballers, something United are unable to do.
Ratcliffe, who backed Britain's exit from the EU in 2016, added: "Because of Brexit it's quite difficult now to contract the younger generational talents in Europe, but Nice could do that.
"If it's a fantastic 15-year-old in France we can sign him up to Nice and use Nice as a conduit to Manchester United later on."
So we can move players between clubs then??

But apparently not allowed to sign Todibo....even though City and Red Bull have done it from their sister clubs owned by the same person
