I guess the positive to take from this, if there is one, is that all the transfers listed above belong to the previous regime, with the exception of what looks to be a competent deal for Yoro right at the bottom. It should serve as a snapshot of how not to conduct transfer business, and ought to feature in MBA case studies going forward to exemplify gross negligence.

They’ve cut SAFs contract as club ambassador.

Apparently Fergie agreed with the decision and was happy enough to step down.

He’s knocking on in years now, still recently bereaved, he might not feel he’s able to carry out whatever the duties are that are associated with that role. He’s also not daft. Can’t just stay in post until he pegs it.

Long history of legends casting shadows including Busby here in the 70s etc. Maybe a fresh start is what we need.

This The Club and fanbase live in the past far too much and it’s one thing that is holding us back. SAF is obviously and always will be a club legend but he has been paid around £25 million pounds after retiring plus he’s probably having influences on decisions that worked well in his time but may not the case in the modern game. new broom and all that.

We're still doing it with managers and Fergie. There's no denying hes the best manager to grace the game. But times have changed now. We need to aswell. He'll still travel to games and watch us. I very much doubt anything will change other than the 2m salary he was getting. Was also mutual aswell so far too many people get getting irate over nothing.
