City won the league around 4 years after the takeover.
Have to get the best football brains at the top first just like City did.
There’s no fix with the current manager being anywhere near the project either.

ETH is hanging by a thread.
What I liked about SJRs comments is him / the board will decide on the football that should be played and the manage will have to suit. I think ETH is on his last chance and personally shouldn’t be changed until after another season.
The manager merry go round is in full swing and sometimes it might be best just sitting on your hand and wait it out.
It’s been a disaster in the board room / recruitment for ETH so a window & year with better operators might yield better results

So this could be an opportune time to consider our options… |

Fast approaching 2 years and no discernible style of play is a massive concern.
good players, bad players or injuries this is a massive concern.
Another concern is that he thinks we should win games that everyone can see we have been outplayed in.
Really like the guy, wanted/wanted him to succeed but just seems like he has been mentally beat up and is in a daze on the ropes begging for his corner to throw in the towel.

Apparently UEFA rules could be a problem for us as there is still a blanket ban on 2 clubs under the same ownership playing in the same competition.
As things stand with Nice in 5th place and us in 6th place we will be playing in the Europa Conference League next season! We need to either finish higher than Nice or win the FA Cup to avoid that depressing fate.
