Two pieces of smashing news. Yoro probably won’t play until January. Antony says he’s going nowhere. Depressing, but I don't believe Yoro would have been quite ready as a starter at this level straight away anyway. We need to get the Mazraoui and de Ligt deals done or pay up for Branthwaite. I've given up on any meaningful additions in midfield at this stage, but they can't get away with this back four shit. Left back is clearly still a problem and we have to buy a CB

I think this season will be another write off and we just need to accept it and that’s not on INEOS. It’s on Ed and the Glazer wankers. The contracts these bang average players are on is a disgrace and they won’t move on until their contracts are up. Of course that also means we won’t be getting money for them. This will take years.

Burnley wanting 30m for Berge.. what the fuck They can get fucked Caino. He's not a DM anyway and he is slow as fuck in acceleration. You might pay 12/15M for him as a replacement for McTominay CM/box to box, but they can't get rid of McT anyway. All those goals they show in the clips were in the Championship too. Sancho/Ugarte swap I made that prediction early on and I'm sticking with it (praying actually) Sander Berge has had some consistent lay off and injury issues up until 2021/2022 Between 2016/17 - 2021-2022 he was out injured for 532 days and 95 games for club and country, over 8 different periods and separate injuries including 2 knee surgeries. He seems to have stayed fit that last 2 years though without problems.

I wouldn't let them off either. It was a pretty basic mandate to fill some basic positions and they have known this for many months before the season ended. If they were that strapped then maybe don't spend it all on a couple of fairly untested youngsters at this stage! It could be a barnstormer of a finish to the window and the medium term is more important, so let's see what they do.

The problem is that INEOS are trying to get rid of the United Tax that appears on every transfer in and out that we try to make...
So they are sticking to their valuation and moving on to new targets when they can't get any movement...clubs used to wait until the end of the window, when we would capitulate and pay mad money for mediocre players...
Similarly with outgoings - we have previously basically given players away, partly due to the ridiculous wages...
I am fine with this strategy, even if it means taking a while longer to get the squad we want...it's time to act like a big club and not be bullied into bad deals...

We finished 8th last season yet the squad is in a worse state now than it was then. The joys.
Signed 2 players, one is injured for at least a month and the other isn't being played for a few games. The fact we've not signed a midfielder yet aswell is so frustrating.
Couldn't possibly dispise the Glazers more, unalive themselves or fuck off, which ever happens first.
Not going in for Zubimendi with a €60m release clause is mental.

Chelsea have already reached an agreement with Pedro Neto’s agent Jorge Mendes.
No issues on salary, club to club talks ongoing to get the deal done as initial request is around £60m.
11 players in including Ian Maatsen back from loan. WTF

Rodri, Walker, Phil Foden, John STones and obviously ALvarez not involved in the C Shield. They are giving us a chance

Chelsea now have 52 senior players, spent nearly 1.5bn in 4 windows and haven't won any silverware for 3 years.
Yet there's us struggling to buy 1 midfielder because we need to offload first.
Must be a loophole in the rules about playing in blue.

What INEOS do not seem to understand is that if we start our next 3 games with Casemiro in defensive midfield our midfield will get overrun and the price of all our defensive midfield targets will increase rather than decrease! And if we refuse those prices to prove a point then we'll finish midtable next season. And then good luck trying to attract good players to the club next summer.

Without a doubt. Just find it mental the difference between the 2. Surely it'll backfire on them eventually.
