Kind of sad to see scot go but it makes sence bearing in mind his age etc. Still think we could do with a big strong experienced centre forward.
Would be happy to swap Rashford or Sancho for one or use funds from their sale to fund one.

INEOS have done an incredible job this summer. Their patience has been rewarded and they've got a decent price for Scotty considering his age/contract situation/financial constraints faced by second tier European clubs and it should allow us to sign Ugarte on a permanent deal without eating into future transfer window's budgets which is the best result.
Next challenge for them is to ditch Rashford next summer because he's another academy product that simply isn't good enough. And also find a creative solution to offload Sancho.

12m plus an option to extend for 1 year. So a bit of a ticking time bomb and we did well to get £25m for him. He has 12 months left on his contract

When dust clears INEOS will have for a net spent of only £100m brought in five new players: three instant starters, one useful squad player and one future superstar.
Under the glazers we had a net spend averaging £150m-£200m and could barely manage to stay in the top four.
I’m impressed and pressure now is on Erik to show he’s good enough for Ineos rather than vice Versa

Don't like that Sancho deal, but it's still preferable to him staying here or going on loan and us still paying him, only for his 'value' to go down further next year.

13 players moved on this summer, including the likes of Fish & Oyedele, roughly about 90M brought in. Good summer so far for departures. Sancho, Lindelof, Hannibal and Eriksen could easily see that number rise further.
Ugarte surely will be done in the next 48 hours. The links to Sterling and/or Chilwell are lazy journalism I'm guessing/hoping. Stirling is coming up to 30, had 2 shite seasons and will be on big money, I don't see him fitting Ineos plan at all. And Chilwell is the one LB in the league Shaw can say "you need to stay fit mate, you're injured too much" to.
If either Hannibal or Eriksen leave then surely we'd be in for 2 midfielders not just Ugarte. We're light of numbers in there especially considering Mount's injuries, and the fact that no one yet knows if Collyer can actually make the step up.

Well, if they’re not on the move it’s a very strange one to be taking a holiday!

Good luck Scotty lad. I'm chuffed for him that he broke through from the academy. I'm always a fan of having lads from Scotland, Ireland (NI or Republic) and Wales in the team. In the past, some of these lads have formed the very backbone of our successes. And Napoli isn't too shabby a place I hear!
