9M for Hannibal.
Considering how highly he was rated at 16 that's disappointing, but he's just never kicked on. He was technically excellent and I think too much focus has been put on his strength and not being bullied; his technical skills have suffered and he's a walking yellow card now.
If anyone had said 4 years ago that Greenwood, Hannibal and Williams would have left this summer for just 35M combined, or when Sancho finally signed that 3 years later we'd be desperate for literally anyone to take him off our hands, you'd have wondered just what the fuck had happened at this club.

Yeah Hannibal trajectory has been disappointing. Came in with alot of promise but more has been made of his running, energy and get in your face whereas his technique seems to have suffered. In fairness the lad might be so desperate to impress he has focused on the basics to get in and stay in the team. Regular game time will reveal alot. The fee is what we paid to get him in so it's neither here nor there. If there is a sell on then absolutely great. Williams I never saw the hype. Greenwood is the real shame because the talent is so so there, just a pity he self-destructed.

The concerning thing is that if we end up with Mainoo or Ugarte being injured, we're going to be fucked again.

So Rabiot and one other...there's a Brazilian that we were looking at for a reasonable fee but can't remember his name... We also have Collyer but it might be too much too soon for him...

Think we're forgetting we still have Casemiro. He's not good enough to start but he certainly looks fitter and more focused and he's more than just a ball winner so can provide cover as a number 6 and a number 8.
As for Sancho there is no way Chelsea are going to sign him unless they can get Sterling off their books. They are also trying to be a bit more sensible regarding their wage structure and their dressing room is overcrowded enough as it is. So if he is willing to take a pay cut and be a squad rotation player for us and agree to a 3 year deal and they offer some cash as well I think it is a good deal. Probably better for him than being unwanted at Chelsea because the new manager wants his own brand shiny toys and as mentioned he's a major upgrade on Antony, a lot more experienced than Amad and Garnacho, and has a much better attitude than Rashford and Sancho and even at a mess like Chelsea his stats were better than Sancho throughout his time in the Premier League and better than Rashford's last season stats. Good professional and while you can knock him for playing for Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea, it means he can handle the pressure of playing at a big club and brings a huge amount of experience.
And if we bring Sterling in we can even consider sending Antony on loan somewhere to hopefully drum up a bit of interest for next summer.

Serial winner, Pep Guardiola deemed Sterling surplus to requirements. Yet, perennial, modern day under-achievers, Manchester United should sign him? No wonder we're a decade of those blue nosed cunts.

Yeah they either pay the money we want for him or they don't, doesn't make any sense to take each others cast offs.

No wonder we're a decade of those blue nosed cunts. Pep is brutal. Cancelo one of the best in the league, dropped and shipped. Zlatan had issues with him. Sterling just didnt fit what they were wanting to do. this isnt me saying go out and sign sterling, but if it meant getting rid of Sancho and Antony i wouldnt be against it, if they received some cash as well as player, he reduced his wages and was happy to be a squad player. he shouldnt be starting but he would offer more than antony and sancho off the bench.

Our future is very bright with the talent we now have at the age they are at:
ST: Obi Martin- 16 ST: Zirkzee- 23 ST: Hojlund- 21
M: Lacy- 17 M: Mainoo- 19 M: Garnacho- 20 M: Kone- 18 M: Collyer-20 M: Ugarte- 23 M: Amad- 22
D: Amass- 17 D: Yoro- 18 D: De Ligt- 25
Chemical Jim and his team came in with a plan and from what I can see they did exactly what they said they are going to do. Stayed strong in negotiations on the incomings, acted fast on the Yoro deal, and brought in players THAT WANT to be here. Every player we sold had an attached sell on clause. They've backed the manager with proper players so if he doesn't come good, he has no excuse. 10/10 summer window imo

In regards to Ugarte or Mainoo being injured and us being in trouble, that is valid however we can't have it all in one summer. I'd have thought this was a sort out the starters summer, get rid of some players and then going forward strengthen the options with clever acquisitions.
