Apparently de ligt is all but done too, just working out the payment structure, if we can get something similar and spread the cost over a couple of seasons so his initial fee is only like 15m or so that's some superb business by the new team.

Got to admit I don’t know much about him but I have to assume that someone who knows better than I do believes that he is worth the money and that maybe his stats don’t tell the whole story… |

Because Koeman is a moron. And let’s not forget that both Trent and Conor Gallagher initially got game time ahead of Mainoo. Southgate at least saw the light. Also, Watkins has played what, 20 mins in the tournament? Ramos played very well for PSG last year, barely saw the field as the corpse of Ronaldo was undroppable. International managers play favourites. I can guarantee you the next Dutch manger will play Zirkzee ahead of Weghorst. |

Casemiro going for about 30 would be a good deal.
He could still be a squad option but realistically there's no way the new regime, looking at cutting costs, are going to allow someone to sit on the bench picking up 300 grand a week, even if Erik wanted it.
Casemiro and Varane out and Ugarte and Yoro in would be a brilliant upgrade. Not to mention Zirkzee for Martial and De Ligt for either Maguire or Lindelof.

Best I can describe is remember when Tony was on form and he had the crazy link up play bringing in others and really just making it all tick, this guy can do the same. For a big lad his game play is impressive. He will push Hojlund and visa versa. When we need a goal you could play them together but it’s not something I expect to see.much of because you have Bruno there and to play 2 strikers really you should have a squad of 4. His price considering what strikers are costing is also very good. I expect a good first season and then from there he will press ahead. We couldn’t go another season with one striker and reality is the likes of Osimhen were never coming in. |

I know nowt about this lad, until about 5 days ago I thought he was a left back. However, clearly a great bit of business, will be a massive success here, United are back.
