Would like to see Kambwala go out on loan for a season. Think he looked decent last season at times so wouldn't want to see him leave altogether. Evans staying on for another season makes sense. Plenty of experience and not a player that will be expected to play a lot. Plus he was actually decent for us last season. Kambwala only has a year left on his contract and isn’t signing a new one. No loan for him, he’ll be sold unfortunately. |

I've read he's only interested in joining Juventus and Juventus are taking full advantage of the knowledge there isn't realistically a way back for him with Erik still manager so they are hoping to get him on a loan deal.
There is absolutely no point keeping him. Even before the bust up with Erik he was piss poor for us. I'd rather give the minutes to Amad who is far more deserving. Sancho back in the fold apparently, doesn’t look like he’ll be sold

Bologna only had to pay 8.5m euros to Bayern for Zirzkee and pocketed about 35% of the capital gain on the sale. So I'd say they did just fine. And these kind of deals work a lot better than loan deals because there is a strong incentive for the smaller club to develop the player and help the bigger club sell him on. We are planning something similar with Greenwood (that is if we can find a club whose fanbase don't kick off at any proposed deal).

Just read the recent news. Seems that there has been a training ground meeting to put the differences to one side.
Anyway reflects well on INEOS that they have the muscle to force a truce. It put us in an impossible situation when interested clubs knew that there was no way back for Sancho. Now we can at least bluff that we are happy to keep him if we don't get an acceptable offer.

Hoping Sancho situation is just to get as much money as we can. No doubt Juve, Dortmund and anyone else are just holding back, knowing he has zero future here so closer to the end of the window we'll panic and give him away for buttons, or another crappy loan deal.
If he's back in training and features in a couple of friendlies then hopefully it pushes them to actually pay up as we're happy to integrate him back into the squad if he stays.

Yeah that is my read too. Playing happy families so that other clubs cough up. And at least pre-season friendlies we can put him on the shop window a bit.

Makes sense to avoid another Forson situation. If he's not signing a new deal then get something in for him and let him leave.
