Possible starting line up for the first game as it stands
Onana Dalot Maguire Martinez Shaw Casemiro Mainoo Bruno Amad Zirkzee Garnacho
Basically the same minus Varane and plus Kirkzee. This window is shite so far. Things have to start moving quickly. Community shield is a week on Saturday.

Fulham bid £23m for McTominay. Make it an even £30m and get rid.

Fulham bid £23m for McTominay. Make it an even £30m and get rid. Why though, we haven't signed anybody in midfield, why are we looking to get rid? McT works when he's asked, doesn't whinge unlike some others, and while he isn't a starter he definitely is vital as a rotational cog.

Three months for Yoro and the best of two months for Hojlund. Rashford and Antony limped off too!
This US tour is a fucking nightmare and terrible pre season. We all know it and the senior players hate it. Eriksen spoke about it last year. It's a load of travelling and jet lag with heat and humidity it's exhausting. Mourinho called it a farce too, but hey that's showbizz. It certainly isn't elite performance and preparation!

Rabiot scored 5 goals for Juventus last season and 11 the season before, but he doesn't start for France and Juve because of his goal scoring nor does anyone talk about it. It's just a bonus on top of his overall central midfield play.
BTW I don't really want Rabiot, because I think we should be signing at least 2 mids the quality in their positions of Ugarte, Zubimendi, Neves. It's really because we don't seem to have any money and he's available out of contract!

Agree with you however, if he will fund Ugarte, then we gotta let go as I don't want Casemiro anywhere near starting

All these top teams coming in with big bids for one of our top midfielders in the last year of his contract Galatasaray and Fulham, it's like a stampede. He does put in more effort than Casemiro and Eriksen at least.

Selling Scotty for £30m and bringing in Rabiot on a free is an upgrade and adds £30m to our transfer budget.
Scotty had a useful knack last season for scoring late goals. But did absolutely nothing to help us control midfield and prevent us from being overrun. He's suspect defensively and not good enough on the ball. And we already have Mainoo ahead of him in midfield and Collyer is coming through as well and we didn't sign Mason Mount to sit on the bench and he also works hard but is actually a good player.

He’s a technical player, always has been.

One of the biggest issues with US preseason games as a supporter is their staffing. They don’t staff the stadiums to full capacity, it’s an absolute nightmare to park and get into the ground. Last year I gave the wife and I about two hours prior to kick off at MetLife stadium and we stood in a line of cars to get into the lot which was only 50% accessible. They simply closed parts the lot off for some reason. We missed kick off, many fans did. I’ve only been present at kick off for 2/5 games I’ve been to and I’ve always tried to arrive well early. In DC they had half the lot closed also and we had to park at an elementary school in a neighboring community and physically run to the stadium. If you look at kick off yesterday the stadium was not full and only appeared that way closer to half.

Yeah that’s madness. Most I payed was about 120usd a few rows from the field against liverpool but I’ll buy right from the clubs page. If you wait and go 3rd party you get absolutely bent over.
