Also I’ve been thinking this all year but didn’t get a chance to say. It’s a shame JEvans missed out on many years at the club, he’s class and seeing him now brings back many moments where I thought “well done.” So calm.

Rashford back to type after a great long shot that went in, first he was clean through on goal after a defender slipped and somehow lost the ball, Foden missed a sitter and then Rashford again totally missing his kick. If only he could score the easy ones.

To be fair to Ten Hag, and in the expectation that we fall to pieces in the later stages, what he has done today shows that he is capable of thinking and adjusting his default tactics.
I suspect he wouldn't have if he didn't know his job was very much on the line.

If you focus on McTominay you see how he adds almost nothing in midfield. His positioning is reliably irrelevant.
