Going early to take one for the team and save king nothing from losing his winning streak… I guess all we can hope for is to avoid the embarrassment of a complete shellacking… Rashford might be fired up for this following his recent comments but I would be tempted to play a front three of the kids…nothing to lose… Garnacho, Amad and Forson… Won’t happen but it would be interesting…

This could be brutal. They’ll target whoever fills in at LB mercilessly. Without Rasmus we won’t hold the ball up and will have virtually no possession.
Hard to see anything other than a pasting here.

City still far from convincing for me but they’ll still batter us.
Would love to see a proper plan here. A Mourinho-esque stifling display where we can nick a 1-0 on the break.

The good thing is that if we do get battered then I cannot imagine SJR turning a blind eye the way the Glazers used to.

Lose to city or win and help Liverpool to their title.

Their last 3 PL games have been 1-0 wins or a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at home, so if we get pasted 5 or 6-0 or something we're a joke. I mean we lose a left back and 21 year old only striker and have no chance is basically the sign of a completely rotten squad and football club.
No excuses whatsoever to give them a game.
Also Rashford's PR video with music is fucking pathetic.

Cant see anything but a 3-4 goal pasting but as I said before the Fulham game “there are brighter times ahead”.so anything this season is what it is.

watching this match is exercise in emotional self mutilation for any real United Supporter.... you are 100% signing up to watch this team get played around the pitch like school boys.
5-0 at best with 65% possession in favor of Citeh.
Citeh fans will touch themselves to this because they know their club is a fraud with 115 charges hanging over every good thing they've ever done in football.

Probably, but Bournemouth, Brentford and Chelsea can all keep them to scoring just 1 goal last 3 games. Chelsea got a 1-1 draw at City all in the last few weeks. It's definitely a mentality thing with a lot of these players.

Something Ole-esque against City. It’s still the only way to beat them really. Sit in, hit them on the counter, ride the fuck out of your luck, hope their strikers aren’t firing.

I realise I made a mistake with the title. It should have been:
V financially doped, state backed, oil soaked, cheating bastards…
Sorry, my bad…

First ever 10 goals scored in a PL match by one team, or a scrappy 1-1 draw.

So this season we've lost 2-0 to Spurs, 3-1 to Arsenal, 3-0 to City, 1-0 to Newcastle, drew 0-0 at Liverpool, drew 2-2 with Spurs, lost 3-0 to Newcastle in the cup, lost twice to Bayern in the Champions League.
Has any manager had a worse record in the big games than Erik's record this season? And then there are all the beatings by smaller teams. 2-1 to Fulham. 2-1 to Nottingham Forest. 3-0 to Bournemouth. 1-0 to Crystal Palace. 3-1 to Brighton. Copenhagen 4-3. Galatasaray 3-2 etc.
