Why does it matter to you so much. a bit obsessed about it. Not obsessed, just curious as to how a Utd fan can arrive at the notion that a home-grown talent ‘isn’t good enough’ despite less than 150 minutes for the first team. So, as before, how have you come to this? because he is young and hasn't developed the skills to be in the line up yet compared the rest of the others.

So, you haven’t taken the time to watch him playing in the reserves, just ‘he hasn’t developed the skills yet’ because he’s young. He’s just what, wandered into the first team squad? Might it be because he’s considered one of the better defensive prospects we’ve produced in ages?

I have no idea if he or any other young lad breaking through from the first team is good enough. But I’m sure as hell not going to write him off after 150 minutes based on ‘feelings’

This season does feel like the worst season post Ferguson to me.. maybe Moyes’ year edges out slightly because of how big of a fall it was.
ETH will be replaced soon, hopefully by someone who’s not a total waste of space like Southgate.

I turned off at half time against Brentford, I didn't watch yesterday, and I'm certainly not ruining my Sunday watching the Liverpool game.

I might even say Varane but I kinda wanna see him play a full game with him because it's probably a dream for him

About 25 times before writing a 19 year old as ‘not good enough for Utd’.

I hope he proves me wrong. Martinez about it as far a starting talent, but he can't stay healthy at this point.

Worst season for me too.
With Moyes you knew he was way out of his depth.
With LVG you knew he was too old school and better at international level than club level.
With Jose you knew we'd get some short term success and then he'd lose the dressing room in the 3rd season.
With Ole you knew the feel good factor would only last for so long and we wouldn't win anything.
But Erik seemed like the right appointment. Someone who could build a winning team that played attractive modern football. So it is disappointing how quickly it all unravelled.
And I think Erik and the players have to take equal blame and in that situation the manager is always going to lose his job.
If the players had simply downed tools I'd want us to back the manager and support him by getting rid of any bad apples. And there would be some hope for the future.
But the players aren't good enough and with FFP it will take years of good recruitment (far from a given) to build a squad that can challenge. And while Erik hasn't been good enough the replacements we've been linked to will probably be even worse. So hard to see where we go from here.

Sky sports think Liverpool will win 6-1. Nice to see them being reasonable.

Sky sports think Liverpool will win 6-1. Nice to see them being reasonable. Liverpool aren’t playing particularly well right now. They’re grinding out results, as is typical at this time of the season. I’m not saying we’ll beat them but we will make them sweat. If Dalot wasn’t a complete fucking idiot we’d be going into that game on a major high.

How many times have we gone from a good result to a bad one and vice versa ? This is often how we unpredictably roll.

Them being at home means a pasting most likely

Whatever about pundits, Klopp and his players will be expecting a very tough game. We’ve drawn and beaten them already this season, despite us being a basket case of a side.
