I always thought we would have a slow or choppy start. I thought we were just unlucky v Brighton although we didn't play brilliant then either. Liverpool was a disaster, but half the team is missing with injuries and new starts. We had a bad pre season with so many players missing from the Euros and Copa or not started from new transfers and a lot for those players including de ligt are not fully fit and have done long haul flights again.
I don't think this team will really start to cook until later in the year unfortunately, but we should have enough to stay close to the pack until then! We have actually created more chances than any other team, but we don't have a Haaland 9 goals in 4 games and that's been the big difference really! Hojlund coming back will make a difference hopefully! We need to be much more clinical as the next 3 games in the PL are really tough
I think the back four will be really good once it settles and hopefully Shaw and Malacia are back! With Ugarte in front it's going to be different.
Did you notice how much more we opened them up with Casemiro BTW. We should use him better than we have and never leave him as a sole DM again!
Good game for Rashford and de Ligt especially after all that Dutch nonsense and pile on

In the 20 min Ugarte got on the pitch was fairly promising. Little buzzsaw got a few tackles in and won the ball each time then immediatly played it forward... this is what we needed.
Slabhead is injured from what I saw, thankfully De Ligt was just cramping and Martinez shook whatever was bothering him.
Amad going forward looks very dangerous, just need to polish it up a bit and he will be a handful for defenses. Rashford finally getting on the scoreboard is huge for him. Hadn't scored since like March I think... Garnacho still looking like a stud.
Zirkzee movement on and off the ball is impressive. Very def touch and good in tight spaces, his link up play is also really good. Needs to finish those chances though
Dalot had a very rough day.
