RVN is out. Not part of Ruben’s plans. Sad but we have to start being ruthless not sentimental. It's the correct decision going forward, he did what he was asked to do, go out prove himself and he will have an opportunity in the future you would imagine.

Have to give Amorim everything he needs. No compromises, no sentimentality. But what a terrific servant Ruud has been.

RVN is out. Not part of Ruben’s plans. Sad but we have to start being ruthless not sentimental. Veery unfortunate as he really loves this club, but for the best. If things don't go positive right away everyone will be looking for Ruud to step in and that will cause issues. Amorim needs to have his own team.

Don’t love the decision but understand it. Hopefully he can reignite his managerial career now.

Does go to show how much we were gas lighted by Erik. Ruud had us playing more attractive football from the word go. And had us scoring 11 goals and conceding only 3 and keeping two clean sheets when only weeks ago we were saying "Oh it isn't Erik's fault that we aren't scoring goals our forwards are shit". Well even with shit forwards we still have other players who can score goals and Bruno in particular has really stepped up under Ruud and got back to his goalscoring ways when he always struggled to score under Erik and Garnacho also seemed to enjoy his freedom under Ruud.
And even allowing for the weak opposition under Erik we were going toe to toe with no-name European opposition, relegation fodder and Championship teams often needing late goals to finish the job and often ending up dropping points.
Understandable that Amorim wants to bring in his own men. But I don't think any of us will forget Ruud's short stint as manager and will be wishing him the best in his future endeavours.

Love Ruud but I feel this is the correct decision. He has the air of a manager about him anyway. Go out and prove yourself and maybe you come back permanently one day.

It’s not too dissimilar to what happened to Carrick after a good three game spell as caretaker prior to Rangnick coming in.
Amorim is going to want his own staff, they’ve been with him since the very start. I think Ruud will understand that.

Not just Ruud is gone.
Rene Hake Jelle ten Rouwelaar Pieter Morel
but I think we all saw that happening as they were ETH's guys

It would be fucking mental to force Amorim to choose anyone except those who have been with him till now.

It wouldn't surprise me to see ruud get offered the west ham job in the very near future. He will get a decent role i would think.

Was always likely to happy, new managers like to bring their own guys over. Someone like Ruud is a big shadow in the background too, he's not just a run of the mill coach.

Was always likely to happy, new managers like to bring their own guys over. Someone like Ruud is a big shadow in the background too, he's not just a run of the mill coach. This is it. I’ve seen folk talking about Fletcher staying on but his role isn’t as directly involved as an assistant manager, and though he’s a respected former player he doesn’t carry the adoration Ruud does. This is absolutely the correct decision. Let the very good manager we’ve just employed do his thing.
