Loved that from Garnacho. Don't blame him in the slightest for not celebrating either. Some right cunts in this fanbase giving unnecessary shit.

The way ruud has conducted himself has been absolutely brilliant those rat cunts should have done the same with ole he deserved this and not the way it ended with him, they never should have gave him the job full time.

This will give him a good idea to plan for the next window.

4 points off Top 4 and 3 off Top 5. can quickly swing if we get our heads sorted out, the rest of the "big" teams are all over too

Decent game that
The 2 signings from Bayern look to be very good business as both were excellent.
Bruno,amad,garnashers and Ugarte excellent.
A couple of decent moments from Zirkzee too.
The only negatives were rashford,Rasmus and dalot being beyond shit.
3 wins and a draw in Ruuds 4 games.
If Ruben doesn’t keep him on at least he’s put himself in the shop window.

If we can bring in the kid from benfica in Jan and then shift maz to RB that would make the back 5 solid, even more so when yoro comes back, CF in the summer probably gyokeres and the squad isn't that far off, amad has made that rw his own now and nashers on the left now a few more players next summer and we could be looking pretty good.

Was it me or did we look more composed in retaining the ball? Our passing was still off, but we seemed content to keep the ball and not go hell for leather at the bowl in possession.

So it was ETH. Went from a team that couldn't stay locked, couldn't play like they have a plan on the pitch, and couldn't score goals. Under Ruud, in 4 matches team always looked in the match from start to finish, players were composed and showed imagination in attack, scored 11 goals and gave up on 3 not while not losing a match.
I literally have no clue what that man was doing while in charge because while the players need to carry some of the burden, it seems to me ETH lost the plot.
Ruud,
Thank you for coming in and loving the club the way you do, showing us what these player are actually capable of when led properly, and giving us some hope. I really hope you stay and work under Amorim.

Ugarte was excellent again by all accounts.

Didn't see the match, but the results under Ruud speak for themselves, and the man has conducted himself superbly on every level. And even taking into account the new manager bounce, this doesn't reflect well on ETH.
Let's hope Amorim delivers, but I'm back to being foolishly optimistic again.

Amorim has already namechecked Ugarte saying he is very happy to get the chance to work with him again. It was bizarre that Erik was so reluctant to start Ugarte. We need stability right now so it is great that Casemiro and Ugarte are developing an understanding and you'd imagine that partnership will continue under Amorim as in his favoured 4-3-3 he has two holding players. Mainoo is young enough and talented enough to adapt to what the new manager wants and will find his place in the team in due course. But priority should be selecting the best team rather than shoehorning in our best players. Although there are enough games left this season that everyone will get their chance to impress under the new boss.
Ruud did a good job. 3 wins and a draw. Our European campaign is back on track and we should be able to make the playoffs. With 4 points in our last 2 Premier League games we've made up some ground and top 4 is well within reach. And we look much more of a team and our players seem to be benefiting from clear instructions and a clear gameplan which I suspect they never got with Erik.
I wouldn't have a problem keeping him around. In the modern game it is quite normal to have a few assistant managers. He's had some time with the squad and they clearly respect him and like him and he can help Amorim to hit the ground running and most likely this summer he will get plenty of good offers for managerial roles.
