Think of a time, when somebody has told you to not worry about something, or it doesn't matter, don't worry etc. Tell me it made a difference. And you'll be lying...as a normal person, not a 20yr old famous footballer. I totally get that but I think in the days of social media and 24 hour news it’s probably one of the downsides to being young, rich and famous. Footballers shouldn't be on it period. Alot of players don'twant to give it up because they're making money off it. You can't have it both ways. It's not like they ain't making enough playing. Talk here about the club doing more. Not sure what they could do to be honest.

I'll also add that supporters would never have said that in the past because the players would've told them where to go. True. Garnacho is still a kid and as such an easy target. Can you imagine yer man saying that to Stam, Keane or Robbo? Not a chance. He wouldn’t have said it to Martinez or De Ligt now either. Social media seems to have emboldened pricks the world over. A few more smacks across the chops for the likes of this moron would be welcomed by most I’d say. Couldn't agree more. I hate social media, I hate the wannabee's who think controversy and "pranking" people is the way to get famous. Not a chance in hell they'd have done it to the old school players. Though it did give me a smile thinking of someone walking up to Billy Whitehurst with a camera out giving him abuse. For anyone under 25 wondering who the hell he is, Google him. Or just Google "complete and utter psychopath", he'll be the first result that comes up anyway.

I think that was in reference to the club allowing certain YouTubers or influencers or whatever they’re supposed to be, access to the players or areas they don’t belong. I don’t think the Garnacho one was a case of that as it was just outside. However there was some cunt who used to work with Goldbridge doing videos of himself high-fiving the players behind the scenes and giving Rashford grief. It’s a horrible club in many respects these days and I imagine marketing or whoever is in charge of it will think we’re getting something out of being associated with these goons.

Footballers tend to post their flashy cars, clothes and exotic holidays on socials so they are rightly on wrongly going to get criticism from fans if they don’t think they are 100% working on their game.

Yes you can say it - if my job is playing football for one of the biggest clubs on the planet and you are one of those who pays money to see me play. That’s not what I asked though, is it? You want to know how upset i will be ? Honestly , i wont be so bothered that it would stop me from celebrating a wonderful goal i just scored. So upset that my captain have to console me and explain about this great tragedy in the press.

People want all the advantages of something and none of the downsides. The real world is not like that. Like you say, if you want some fucking privacy, don't be a social media tart. It's pretty simple.

All of which are either family or football. Nothing flashy or show off. Using it pretty much for what it's designed for.
