doesnt stop. what a player hes going to be. there was a phase in play yesterday when he went in for a challenge and it was probably about 60-40 in the opposition favour and he came out on top. doesnt take a backwards step in a tackle. monster Kante 2.0 and he's only 23 . He's brought out some good form in Casemiro too as he's looked a different player with Ugarte

Which is great for him as he clearly wants to do as he pleases in midfield. Also, Ugarte is much more limited as a footballer than Casemiro is. Casemiro is more technical than him and has a better range of passing. So you’re happy for him to sit in while Casemiro farts around.

Interesting thing is he doesn't really just sit in, he's aggressive from the front too and has the engine to do that. I thought it was interesting how much tackling he does in the final third and he tries to anticipate breaking up moves. It's early days yet, but he will definitely be a key player under Amorim, who knows him well

Bit out of the loop here dude. What happened? A youtuber called Planetfaz went spoke to Garnacho whilst he was signing shirts for kids and was telling him to sort out his first touch etc. Basically looking for a reaction to record it. It's clearly affected him afterwards. Fancam cunts need to be banned by the club. Opportunistic wankers. That was his big issue !? No wonder these bunch consistently plays shit , with mentality like that. With the kind of football being played by the team , he should be happy fans are not telling him more.

Agreed. if he models himself on CR7 which could one day see him in Madrid then he’d better toughen up mentally because they will tear you to bits on just an ok performance.

People forget the lad is only 20 and has played a lot of football during one of our worst periods. He's also human. I very much doubt it's down to this one incident, hes recieved a lot of shit on social media aswell, but it highlights the lack of wellbeing the club has for it's players. The club should have fucked these youtubers off ages ago. Either way he's not exactly sulking or throwing his toys out the pram, just didn't celebrate scoring a worldy which was a shame. The lad will grow though im sure. He's not stopped putting the effort in which is all that matters.

Social media is incredibly toxic for players and its not surprising players have mental health problems. I'd rather see players falling out the back of nightclubs than apologising on Twitter.

Really is. The bile I've seen about Garnacho lately is embarrassing. All for clout and attention but unaware of the impact it has on them. Don't recall any united player getting this level of shit at this age. Mentality is an issue at the club but you'd think the club would be doing more to combat it.

True , prime Cristiano was booed by that lot , most of our current players will melt over there.

I dont have much sympathy for these youtubers , but if he is going to get upset by every random comment by these guys he is not going to fulfill that potential he obviously has. I just saw that vedeo , to be fair that guy was not even rude or completely wrong !

One of the only players that doesn’t stop all game and keeps trying. A pure talent. A winger with no fear. And he’s being hammered.
Genuinely weird.

The current Garnacho discourse is genuinely baffling. Two weeks in a row I've wondered if some of our fans know or understand anything about football.

The current Garnacho discourse is genuinely baffling. Relax there is no big 'anti Garnacho discourse' here ,nobody is questioning his talent. I thought his reaction after a fantastic goal where he didnt celebrate because some dude's random comment made him upset with the fans was little over the top. And no , i dont think a professional footballer should be so upset over something so frivolous.
