I want him to stay, but I don’t think he will and if we don’t sign another proven goal scorer, or a real talent then we’re fucked.

Ruud has to go full stop, do I want him to go - no, he is still world class, however for Fergie to tell Ruud to go home and to stop him even playing in Keane's testimonial something major has gone on, and not the little set to with Ronaldo.
Ruud will always be loved and rated as an all time great but a manager has to manage and is judged on that basis.

I really, really hope he stays because he has been awesome for us. I hope their relationship is repairable but I just can't see him staying at all. Its gonna be a sad day the day he actually goes though

True...Whatever went on with Ronnie obviously wasnt as bad as the media first projected, but still....Fergie thought it nessacery that he shouldnt play at Keanos testimonial....surley that will be a shadow over his head if he stayed?

No, I don't think it should be a shadow over his head. Like so many things the media has papers to sell and viewership to maintain so this was probably exaggerated to that end. If they had a bust up then fine, but they're professionals and not forget that they have a job to do. To have a small squabble with someone affect your career is silly. If it's decided that Ruud should be transfered it will be for other reasons as well. Fergie has to think about the team as a whole and if he's a negative influence then it has to be addressed, but I wouldn't like it because Ruud has been great for United.

Guys, u seem to be forgetting that Sheva signed for Chelsea for 30 mil, so the normal going rate would be atleast 40% less, so Sheva actual value is around 18 mil. I would also suggest that RVN should be worth a similar figure, though, it appears the the valuation we have of RVN is around £14mil. I really don't think that the maangement is going to let him go on the cheap, not the same mistake twice, and considering that the new management is all the shrewder (not necessarily better... )

Never for one minute did I believe that Fergie was upset over the Ronaldo Ruud incident, as Ronaldo has said these go on all the time, something major has happened.

If SAF can get anything close to 20mill for Ruud from Milan then he'll be gone. Then with the funds we could try and snatch up Martins or Torres. Or, why not try and pry away Gattuso in a straight swap. Then have Gattuso lead our mid-field for the next 4-5 years while we groom the next replacement. By that time Darren Gibson might be ready. But how would this team look to all of you:
VDS
Nev Rio Vidic Heinze
Ron Gattuso Scholes/Riquelme Giggs/Ribery
Rooney Saha/Martins or Torres

I voted for him to stay because he is GUARANTEED 20-30 goals a season... not many could match that in the prem. However, after this whole thing with fergie and ronaldo, will he want to stay? Will he be the same player if he does? and will fergie be able to swallow his pride and keep on a world class player he has disagreed with in the past? ... we have all been witness to the lethal fergie 'big-player axe'.

Am I the only one who is looking forward to next season with excitement without RVN? In my opinion, UTD have still got one of the best forward lines in the country possibly Europe with Saha, Rooney, Ronaldo and young Rossi. I don't go in for all this "oh Ruud is our top scorer" talk. Surely any great team spreads the goals around. The fact is we need a goalscoring midfielder - maybe Scholes will come back rejuvinated. The fact is also, we play BORING football when Ruud is playing. When he isn't playing, we are sharper and faster. Even Ole, when he has played looks 10 times better than RVN. My advice is GET BEHIND SAF. My prediction: Ruud wil be sold - Ruud will have a crap world cup...mark my words.

RedSeven....I can't read your posts anymore because I think your avater video of keano's tackle is horrendous. keano is a legend at Utd - you must be able to find a better avater of Keano's contribution. Surely?
