I've always said he'll come back to United, and there's no rift between him and Waz because he hasn't done anything wrong. It's just the English media always need a scapegoat in defeat!

You know what the funny thing is the image 1, where he was fouled by Boulharouz and had to be taken off the field in tears with a big raking stud mark down his leg...fuckin' BBC pricks are so anti-United... #Wa#

the last image looks like one where he's just scored and got booked for taking his shirt off which is a ridiculous rule anyway, its hardly foul play. i do truely hope he stays but just to throw a spanner in the works is anyone suspicious that this has come after calderon won the madrid election and he wasnt interested in ronnie

That is very, very childish for the bbc. That seems like something I'd expect from some 12 year old kid.

#Wa# That's silly...and if the consensus is that it's Ronaldo's fault then some people need to get their heads out of the sand, but I guess it's always easier to blame the foreigner. If you don't appreciate what Ronaldo did that's one thing, but it's not why England lost.

I've made an official complaint to the BBC about that article and Shearer's comments following the game, hehe!!! ;D

Sky Sports also just said that Rooney didn't mean to intentionally stamp on Carvalho and he has no ill-feeling towards Ronaldo. So guess thats about it then as far as Uniteds concerned.....now for the prem fans response.

I've seen the replay of the crotch stamp and it didn't look like he meant to do it intentionally so I believe it, and not as a Rooney supporter but because of what I saw.

Supposing we believe Rooney In which case it wasn't violent conduct and there shouldn't have been a red card given. Therefore Ronaldo should not have asked for one to be shown, that he did would indicate why Rooney also said he was disappointed with Ronaldo's interference. But no hard feelings. Nah cannot think why there would be from Rooney's view. I can hear the club position in every word, especially "I suppose I do though have to remember that on that particular occasion we were not team-mates."

That's all fair enough, but what was the wink all about?

I think the wink was not at getting Waz sent off, I think it was more of ''we should win this now'' or maybe even someone said something to him from the bench and he winked to signal his agreement.

Therefore Ronaldo should not have asked for one to be shown Ronaldo never went to get him sent off, had he Wayne would have been more than disappointed. Ronaldo just ran over angry at what he saw at the time was a violent challenge on his team mate.
