United looked OK in the first half but as a whole during the game just weren't at the races and you can only think had Lennon played we may have dropped some points today.
Reasons to worry? Of course not we drew these sort of games last season, Watford & Spurs have given us battles yet we've come out with all six points and we hold the only 100% win record in the country and after four games it's something we've never done.
Things will only get better and we've beat a very good team without ever coming out of first gear to be honest. Ryan Giggs. What can I say about him that Sir Alex & Neville haven't? the guy's a true footballing genius and I hope he never stops.
Celtic and Arsenal coming up and I wouldn't put it past us picking up six points from them games because we're looking good despite today's performance. Another journey up the M6 on Wednesday and I can't wait for it, should be an excellent atmosphere and game as a whole.
If you offered me 1-0 this morning I would've said yes without hesitation, now let's recover and give Celtic & Arsenal a beating. United style!

Well we started well but when Giggsy got the smack in the mouth and we were down to 10 men for a few minutes spurs got back into it and we never picked it up again and can count ourselves lucky to have got the 3 points, can't believe Mido missed that chance but I'm glad he did. Richardson was terrible and should have been brought off sooner but it seemed we didn't want to call on Park too soon as he's travelled a lot in the week. Carrick did pretty well for his first game and Ronaldo and Giggs are looking really sharp, Rio was probably our weakest link in defense with some poor passing and I don't think O'Shea imposed himself on the game at all. Overall it was a nervy game and one we could quite easily have dropped points in but we didn't and our fantastic start continues and now we get Rooney and Scholes back #yahoo# Agree completely with that analysis. We looked like we had in the previous games until Giggs' blow, never picked it up again afterwards. Still 3 points was achieved.

8 Van der Sar: calm collected everything we love about him. crucial save too
8 Neville: he made a silent impact but a very much needed one.. contributed to offense too
7 Evra: solid. adjusts better every match
6 Ferdinand: couple silly mistakes but a decent showing
7 Brown: very confident of and smart play.. some very good tackles as well.
8 Ronaldo: created most of our oppurtunities on goal and assisted the goal to giggs. showed he dangerous he can be.. deserved a goal of his own also
6 Carrick: some spectacular vision in the first half.. but in the second half virtually invisible. still couping to our squad
7 O’Shea: no mistakes thats all i want of him.. makes me nervous on his first touch tho
4 Richardson: i was beggin of fergie to take him off.he was playing slow, not smart or creative and when he lost the ball he would make clumsy mistakes. his head seamed elsewhere
8 Giggs: good game here. steady performance
5 Saha: no finishing prowess. he shouldve had a goal or two. when he missed from the ronaldo pass. i thought rvn would have put it in.. in europe you cant miss a chance like that
Subs:
5 Park (sub Richardson 70) ran his arse off like always but no impact
6 Fletcher (sub Carrick 79) played confident for the time he was on.. thought he should have started..
and ima add one
alex ferguson 6- today i felt richardson should have been taken out earlier to avoid a red. my thoughts were to sub out keiran and put smith upfront and drop giggs to the left. felt this should have been done.. and an introduction of fletcher earlier also.. but we got 3 pts so all is well

I thought we were solid enough, and when we stepped up a gear at times we passed them right by.
Richardson should never start ahead of Park.
