I'm usually very critical of Fletcher, but he is having a very good match today this far. We are playing Liverpool though, and that usually make most players put in the extra effort, if Fletcher could show us he is capable of playing all matches like he is today then he would be a very good player.

Carrick has been giving away some rather easy balls, but it is his first "big" game for us so he's understandably nervous. Fletcher has been awesome fights for every ball exactly what we need in these kinds of matches.

fletcher and saha are playing superb, along with scholes and giggs as classy as ever, totally outplaying them. saha to bang one in for 2-0.
all fletcher needs is another 1/2 a stone of muscle.

Rooney really needs to get a goal today, a goal against the scousers would really get him back on a scoring roll, if him and Saha could bag one each that would be fantastic. I'm not too bothered by how many we score though, as long as we can manage to keep a clean sheet as well that'd be great.

im sure saha is intentionally doin loads of runs and turns around mo ' i cant tackle so i hack' sissoko. Hopefully he'll get sent off, i really dont like him.

Even though Fletch is playing well, I say we bring on Ron in for the final 30 minutes, he'll rip the liverpool defence apart at that point.

If he decides to bring Ron on he is prolly going to take Carrick off and move Fletch into the middle. I love Carrick and think he is going to be great for us once all the pieces comes together for him, he has looked lazy at times today though, and although he had a very good start to the game he is slipping out of it again. He looks confused, and slightly like he is trying to be a defensive midfielder. I really hope Sir Alex didn't tell him to play defensively, because it's not for him... well here's to Carrick to score! Am I asking too much?  |
