I feel sick after watching that game. We completely dominated and then those fuckers nick a free-kick which wasn't. That Nakamura is a shit player, but his free-kicks are immense.

One thing, we can stop buying in to all this bullshit about Celtic having amazing support. Their travelling support is great, their home support is crap
"You're support is fuckin shit!"

We may see where our priorities lie this year by who we buy in January. If we really are serious about the Champions league then there's little point in buying players who are cup-tied so we could be looking at Bent rather than say Huntelaar. Are Atletico Madrid in Europe?

We’ve played great football this season with a 442… we go in to the Celtic game and we’re lined up differently. We don’t switch to a 442 until the 75th minute. Rooney has been stuck out left most of the game. What the? Why didn’t we leave things as they were? Nothing needed changing. We could have had all the possession in the world today (and we had loads in the first half) but that doesn’t cover up the fact that we lost. Great free kick by the way. Probably impossible to save, but VDS should have knew from last time around where it was going. When we need to change the game, what do we do? Bring on O’Shea and Evra… you have to laugh at the fact we have no bench, nobody to change things. We only needed a point tonight to qualify and we couldn’t do it. Added pressure we didn't need. We as a team didn’t do enough tonight and I hate singling players out but Saha disappears in big games. I’ve said it a number of times.
It's over now though. Will this loss give us an extra boost going in to the Sunday game? We’ll see.

It just doesn't make sense does it? He looked unstoppable at the weekend playing in his normal position where he can really hurt teams. This may be oversimplfying it but where do you think Strachan would have liked to see him playing? Sometimes it looks like Querioz changes things tactically for the sake of it.

oh well we lost,im worried that some of the players will start to think about last season and lose confidence, hopefully that won't happen.
after tonight i've realised we need to sell ronaldo,he's to selfish he's never gonna be a team player, like in injury time we get a free and everyone piles into the box, what does ronaldo do,try to be a hero and score a 45 yard screamer, but as he usually does he hits the wall with the free-kick.we should sell him now and get the money before people start to realise he aint worth that much.

The players look like they are reading there own press, looked like prima donnas, if they had arsenal shirts on you wouldnt of been suprised with all the pointless passing, looks as though its going to be one of those shit nights at ot when the crowd all sit there biting there nails, regarding buys in jan if we dont qualify we will sign nobody. Another tactical mistake,

I knew this was going to be a tough match but was hopeful that a strong starting line up would have been able to get the win and at worst draw level. While we controlled the majority of possession in the first half we just couldn't create anything or capitalize off of the 10 corner kicks we had which just isn't good enough. Celtic looked clumsy on the ball and were giving the ball away early on and that's when we needed to score. Nakamura made the most of his very fortunate opportunity and that's the difference; Saha's penalty was poor and I agree with those who mentioned Ronaldo taking the penalty would have been a better option. Facing Benfica in a must win situation is never good especially after they worked over FC Copenhagen. Granted we're facing them at home but that doesn't guarantee anything. What hurts is that it's possible Celtic will beat FC Copenhagen and win the group.

I think all this talk about tactics and so on are wrong, we do function better with a 442, but with the players out there and the way we were playing we should have won this game. I don't think you put fault at Fergie's door with this result.
The ref's free kick decision, Jarosik's diving and the player's are at fault.
