Fletcher, Nev, Rooney and Giggs had probably their worst first 30 minutes of the season to begin with, Giggs keeps passing into really strange areas expecting somebody to run onto it or trying to run through people. Nev showed Milner onto his inside for their goal, ametuer defending really, almost asking him to shoot.  Looks like theres a lot more space now Saha's off though, how we aren't ahead after that last 15 minutes is beyond me. Fletcher needs to go off for Carrick in my opinion. |

if we take Darren off and bring Carrick on he should be able to find a killer pass and split the defence and then we score  |

At least it has been an entertaining half...
Scholes has been good, Ronaldo too. Park's not done much except for that one shot. Is Fletcher even playing?I don't think Giggs has been bad, although he's done some peculiar things. Rooney needs to score. Rio and Nev are being dodgy, the rest of them you hardly notice. Not a Premiership winning performance that's for sure... but we can afford having a draw in a busy christmas period. Hopefully we will come out on the field in the second half looking a hell of a lot better than what we have been.

we seem really susceptible to the screamer shots, we dont close down opponents running in from distance quickly enough. I knew the second goal from newcastle was in in the second he struck it.
