Great game to watch, really good football played by both sides. A bit angry that we couldn't get all three points. I thought Ronnie scored on that header I jumped out of my seat only to be disappointed by Solano. When Rooney and Vidic went down I got a bit nervous. Does anyone know what happened to Saha? I didn't see anything wrong with him when he went out maybe I just missed something? All in all a decent game but we should have gotten all the points. O well, I'm not gonna bitch about this one though I do think Evra was a bit jumpy in the beginning. The first goal was just a brilliant stike there was nothing that could be done about it. Scholes came up big again for us so thats good and the last goal was just unlucky. Still 7 points ahead and looking forward to the next game.

we deserved more from the game....but to go on critisizing ALL OUR PLAYERS everytime we don't get the result we expect is something i'll never understand...we should all just chill out a bit...This is Football..sometimes u win, sometimes u don't...sometimes players are on top form, sometimes they're not...it's how u bounce back after defeats that counts...and this was a draw, not a defeat...but we still have to bounce back from it...so at the moment we're 7 points clear ( most probably 4 pts, after tomorrow ) ... which is more than any of us could've imagined at the beginning of the season....so instead of critisizing the team...let's all get behind the team for next games...and hope villa can do us a favor...

"Park & Neville = Shit"? "Ronaldo doesn't look interested"?..WTF?!..we've drew an away game and now suddenly everyone's going mad, for fuck sake points will be dropped during the season it's how we bounce back that matters, weren't those the words from Sir Alex and he's right. Ronaldo didn't have his best of games today but was still one of our best players, Rooney just seems not at the races I don't know what's wrong with him, Scholes got another two great goals and if it wasn't for a deflected long range effort in which VDS had no chance with we'd have won again. I don't think we should begin to panic at all, we've got Larsson, Rossi and a few others back from loan available from now on so that should do us good and Chelsea have a difficult away trip to Aston Villa tomorrow so it's not all that bad. We have to bounce back in the FA Cup tie with Villa and Premiership tie with Villa before we travel to the Emirates, on the same day Liverpool host Chelsea so there's still a lot to do and a long way to go but right now United are still in a good position and I don't think there's need to worry. adam, i agree about not panicking but we should be mad because we should've done so much better. we should've won, we didn't, and we dropped points. But as you said, now we need to bounce back and hope villa do us a favour. let's also hope that the transfer window brings some very good things.

Certainly unlucky for us, the result could have been much different as we had golden chances, but, it was a good game of football to watch.
We're still 7 points clear right now, lets hope Villa can do something.

When you drop points and need to bounce back, you have to highlight what was wrong and correct it in order to do so.. or you really won't get far. So the fact is Park was right off the pace, everytime he got it he gave it away, Giggs kept kicking it off the pitch, Fletcher had 10 minutes where he looked like a decent player and 80 where he disappeared and Rooney was unlucky again, not particularly bad, just missing chances by half a yard. Ronnie was doubled up on all the time, Giggs should have been on left mid and Ronnie up top.

Spot on there Adam, I got angry after the West Ham game as did you but this game is a bit different. It isn't that we played bad, there was just things we needed to do better. And I think Suffix put the nail on the coffin. Park lost the ball too much. Giggs kept kicking it out, and Rooney was unlucky again. O and Ronaldo was double or triple teamed everytime he got the ball which really is to be expected with the form he's in.

Not a good result especially since those goals came from Newcastle players left all alone. The fact we couldn't keep the lead is what was most diasppointing because the defense just didn't look as sharp as it should. A 6 point lead would have been ideal and certainly possible given the fact we were moving the ball around better, but so it goes. I must say that some of Giggsy's passes left me wondering and I really hope Rooney gets out of his funk because a lot of times he looks invisible out there. Upwards and onwards though, we got a point from the game and still have if Chelsea manage the win tomorrow we'll be up by 4.

The commentators were saying there was no way we should have dropped points. I'm actually quite satisfied with a point at St. James'. I would have loved us to win, maybe we should have won, but other than Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal, Newcastle is the toughest place to go to. I'm very confident we will win our next game. Chelsea have a very tough game tomorrow, I expect them to drop some more points. We're top, we're seven points clear. Arsenal's unbeaten run was an absolute freak and there is no way that will ever be repeated again. We're going to drop points here and there. But let's look forward to our next game. Keep the faith.

One point is better than nothing, I said earlier I would take a draw, and I'm happy with that this was always going to be.
Scholes and Ronaldo (again) were very good. Carrick did well when he came on. We missed Carrick, didn't hold the ball enough, Fletch was no good. Defence was disappointing, Rooney needs to get back on track and he needs it quick. He should be dropped because continue playing him has not done him any good, an eyeopener might.
Dropping two points isn't the end of the world, and of course it was going to at some point. But we still needed to show that we could keep the tempo up, we didn't do that today. We need to have options to bring on when things are going badly, again, we didn't have that today.
Still, roll on next match. not the end of the world!

Individuals let us down today, some of our passing and build up play was as good as we've seen but unfortunately Nev was at fault for Milners goal (still needed a great finish but should never have been given the opportunity) our attackers aren't doing their job right now, the last few games we've relied on midfielders to score our goals which wouldn't be a problem if our strikers were just being marked out of the game but they're getting chances, and good ones at that, and missing them which isn't good enough, we just needed to be a bit more clinical but it seems like Giggs early miss set the tone for the match and we just snatched at our chances after that.
Despite being wasteful we still got the lead and looked comfortable (too comfortable) and really should have gone at them like we did once they equalised because a third goal would have been almost inevitable but instead we got that complacent look about us again and paid for it, considering the team Newcastle put out and the chances we created that's a crap result but in the scheme of things an away draw at Newcastle isn't that bad as long as we react to this properly.
