That was a great game!! Loved to see Parky score!! And I bet Tatty's happy for Carrick!! I must say I was happy with our performance, specially with that of Scholsey, Larrson, and Carrick. Wazza did look like he could have used a little boost. Almost missed a few times and I thought that the ball went in once but even the 92" TV sometimes plays tricks on the mind. I cannot see him not scoring next time against Arsehol. He really needs the goal.
I wonder if our inability to keep our sheets clean for 5 games in a row will have an effect later on. We really need to plug the holes in the defence. Even one goal can make a difference. But good game nevertheless
Bring on the holes!!

well we never went into full gear and it was pretty comfortable and dare i say it, boring towards the end. rooney needs to step up and the defence needs to plug their holes, but i think vidic will be back to top form after this. we need to go out with all guns blazing at the emirates and maintain our 6 point lead for as long as possible.

I thought the same about Vida he was at fault for City's goal for doing the exact same thing when we beat em 3-1 and he done it again yesterday. I think he should just hold his position and not fly into a place Evra had covered.

Now I'm going tp predict a G.Nev goal every week until he scores. I was glad Rooney shot with his left in this game, although had he let it roll onto his right he would have scored. The lad just can't win with me at the moment. Heh.

Tatty it is hard to please you eh? I think Nev is going to score against Lille... Not really. As I rate Darren Fletcher as a good midfielder. Definite United quality IMO. It's just little things like not snatching at shots that annoy me really. And it's the little things Rooney's getting wrong right now.

Irwin's Analysis: Villa 3-1
Paul Scholes and Michael Carrick's midfield partnership was the inspiration behind United's comfortable victory over Aston Villa on Saturday, according to former Reds defender Denis Irwin.
In Irwin's Analysis, on MUTV, the United legend was full of praise for the industrious duo's display in the 3-1 win.
"I thought the midfield were fantastic on Saturday," he said. "Scholesy just pulled all the strings, played in his slippers, had a big pipe and Carrick linked up very well with him.
"They totally dominated the game. But I just thought our overall play and the way we linked up was all too easy and we should've won by more."
With United going in three goals clear at half-time after strikes from Ji-sung Park, Carrick and Cristiano Ronaldo, Irwin claims it was only natural to ease off after the interval.
"I think it's just human nature that you sit back a little bit when you get 3-0 up or 3-1 up and it just petered out in the end.
When you're 3-0 up at half-time and you know you've got big games to come, it's just automatic that you do sit back."
lol. Irwin. Legend.
