poor game; we looked very uninspired. But a win is a win and our lead is still 6 pts, though our GD will prolly not be as great as chelsea wins 3-0.
MoM: ?

Not brilliant, but 3 points none the less. Missed the liveliness of Ronnie though.

We weren't as good as we've been, but we were always in charge of the game.
Park or Fletcher for Man of the Match?

Clean sheet and two goals not bad. Wasn't as easy as we thought it was but we came through and thats all that counts.

Can we blame internationals? I want to blame something because that was a pretty poor performance from us, still we got the win so no damage done but I hope we look a but sharper and motivated next outing.

everyone will probably agree that was not a brilliant performance. we lacked sharpness and our usual flare. but that is because of this weeks internationals. i thought giggs played very well ; terrorizing down the wings. rooney and saha both played well and our second goal was all wazza. park was everywhere and deserved a goal. flecther played fine, connecting the back to the front. it was an easy header for him but still, he's got us the goal. i have to admit up until the second goal i was feeling very worried. especially when charlton had the free kick which just went wide. i was thrilled when we got the goal and I could breathe easy again. when ur fighting for the title you need to get the three ponts even when you're not playing too well. that's just what we did and we've got the three points.

We weren't as good as we've been, but we were always in charge of the game. Park or Fletcher for Man of the Match? Park contributed more than Fletcher as Fletch was invisible for a good part of it. Park was out there putting pressure on Charlton and got a nice header so he gets my vote. Nice passing by Larsson, he's got such a great mind for the game...

Was looking forward to the match but when i looked at the line up i knew we were gonn a win it the hard way. Hope to see our regulars next time round and i think that Saha's absence from the team never made a difference but now that he has come back it looks like it will take time to get that free flowing football back. Just hope we are ready for the champions league.

Would have been a completely different story if their 12th man ( the reff) wasn't so bias, he completely broke up any rythm everytime there was a nudge on any Charlton player.
One of the worse performances of the season, mistakes everywhere, but we won it, think it should be forgotten about to be honest, got the result and move on.

Agree with ya Jorge, Park played very well. Fletch did well though when he got the ball. I didn't like Richardson coming on, he didn't do a thing. Larsson on the other hand continues to impress me. He has such good control and a great mind and vision for the game.

Actually now that I think about it. I think that Roo should get MoM. He was so influential today, he was definetly the best for us today. He should have had a goal and could have had one but instead decided to hit it back across goal to Fletch. Rooney is back I feel and I think he deserves MoM for us today.

I'm just glad we managed the win. Charlton were looking very threatening at times.
Rooney and Giggs were both very good today. Both Carrick and Ronaldo were missed, we should be thankful we weren't playing a better team.
