Cant even really get too down on the team, because they worked hard, and created enough chances to win 4-2 on any other day.
The own goal was shocking. I mean, Andy Gray was getting on VDS's case... but no defender should pass back to their keeper without looking to see where their keeper is. Rio had a great game today, but he may have just scored the goal that cost us the title. Serious.
It was a penalty for Rooney. Rooney wasn't offside when he was one on one with the keeper. Maybe if it wasn't us vs Pompey and the officials, todays result could have been different.
I'll be livid if we don't win the title. We deserve it so much more.

Fcuk guys!
Scholes didn't have the best game - Giggs came on and wasn't great either - to many sloppy passes.
Roonie wasn't at his best - noticed when things weren't going his way he slowed down.
Henzie MOTM for me!
Roma fcuked us over and so did the ref.
Oh and VDS made two mistakes and them two mistake lost us the game.
Come on Tuesday - lets put this SH*T performance behind us. I'm trying hard to think positive at the moment

We were robbed.
3 points clear we have to win all of our matches. Then we might go to chelsea and lose, but win the title on Goal Difference. Fingers crossed!

The loss was always going to come, however we lost on match not the title. We still have three points on Chelsea. We weren't good enough today, for about ten minutes we played better than Pompey, the chances we did get we just didn't put away. I've said this the whole season, and our squad isn't wide enough. Having O'shea, Fletcher and Richardson on certainly did us no favours, then nor did the senior players coming on for them. Pompey deserved the win, James was outstanding today, Van Der Sar was dodgy at best.
Roll on next match.

I expect us to play our strongest possible team in all future games; no more of this handicapping ourselves from the start. A failure in the basics. #shakehead#
Rio's own goal summed up the game for me. Both VDS and Rio were at fault for it- Rio should not be kicking it on his own goal, and VDS shouldn't be charging out. Smudger looked good when he came on. Bodes well.

This one's Fergie's fault with his selection, he blatantly knew it with the subs he had warming up before half time.
The offside goal after half time would've changed the game, shame the Lino got it wrong.
What the hell was VDS up to, after conceeding in Rome with a poor parry, he does exactly the same, then after he conceeds in that manner, he parried it AGAIN almost into the strikers path. He's lost us 3 goals in 2 games, which would've got us 1 win and a draw.
One last thing to say, Goodbye Richardson!
Don't think that needs an explanation.

man...am disappointed...very disappointed...i wish it was a draw at the least...now it has grown tougher many times over!...and lookin at our schedule list, we need our men back...its the worse time for the injuries and I can taste a bitter resentment coming from the refs...i hope I am wrong baout the refs and that their sense of play will improve Oh God its hurting me now!

Any other team going 2-0 down, would have thrown in the towel but we fought to the end like we always do.
David James. Some games he is the shittest keeper in the league, and other days he is the best. We got James on a good day.
I can't fault the team really. It just wasn't our day. We've had a great run recently and we can't expect to win them all.
Mourinho will be excited by this score. I'm not worried. I still believe we are going to win the title this season and the only time when I admit defeat will be if Chelsea lift the cup.
We are three points ahead. Still Advantage Mancunia.
