I must say that we showed our resilliance today and perhaps Milan didn't learn from Roma's mistake of trying to sit on a lead in the second half. Our attack did very well at creating chances which at least made up for our abismal defending at times. I certainly hope that we have Nev and Rio back for the next CL match because we'll need all the help we can get at the back. Rooney scoring twice in a match against a tough defensive team like Milan is brilliant...I can't wait until next week!

Great second half. It's always likely to get a late goal against a tiring defense currently also reading brochures for retirement homes.
I'd have taken any win before the game.

We'll hopefully have our defence back for the 2nd leg, which i don't see being a problem, IF we score and IF we score first. Ronaldo will get more space as they're chasing the game. David pleat praising that reff, i mean, . He reminded me of the Roma reff in the respect that United players weren't allowed to compete for headers.. Both of their goals could have and would have been avoided with Rio around. Watching Van Der Sar at the moment i kind of wish Foster were a few years older with the experience! VDS's reactions seem incredibly lax Watching Milan's OAP's funnel off by the 70th minute is just funny, i mean. they were exhausted and chasing shadows, most of them were rested at the weekend as well! I hope he's not seriously injured, but at the same time i dearly hope Gattusso is out for the 2nd leg without him they're well and truly stuck. Said at half time i wasn't worried, if Rio and Nev are back for the 2nd leg, i'm simply not worried at all. We have the beating of Milan evey time for me at the moment.
