We need to get over the disappointment of Saturday's draw with Boro and move on, we traditionally bounce back from disappointment and if that's the case we should go on to have a successful season still, despite those times when we just wanted the ground to swallow us up today. Our squad is depleted by so many injuries, it's unbelievable. This is the worst injury crisis I've seen at any club in my time. AC Milan will be a hard opponent, with so much experience and talent they won't just roll over and don't expect a result that bares resemblance of that against AS Roma. It's obvious who we have to watch out for and that'll be their midfield triad of Kaka, Gattuso and Pirlo. Could you get any better?... Adam's XIVan Der Sar
O'Shea - Brown - Heinzé - Evra
Ronaldo - Scholes - Carrick - Giggs
Rooney - Smith SubsKuszczak, Cathcart, Fletcher, Eagles, Richardson, Solskjaer, Saha (Surely Saha & Richardson will be okay for a substitutes berth?) It's going to be difficult, we know that but if the likes of Ronaldo, Rooney and Smith can get the better of the ageing AC defence we'll be good for a victory. We also need a massive game from Edwin Van Der Sar and the defence. Prediction2 - 0 United Ronaldo & Rooney

I can see us winning but due to our makeshift defence I can see Milan scoring, especially with Kaka in the side. Id like to say 3-1. I hope we can do what we did after our defeat to Portsmouth and destroy AC as the team will need a huge lift. They looked so down after todays performance and there is nothing like a win in the semi finals of the Champions League to lift the spirits.
COME ON UNITED. DON'T LET THEM HEADS DROP!!!

Quite frankly, I wish we were no longer in the competition. It's severely damaged our title challenge, and getting to the final or even winning it would be so incredibly bitter sweet if we don't have the premiership title too.

Cathcart's out for the season after picking up an injury in training, after what Fergie's been saying i think the only way Saha will be on the bench is if there's nobody else, which at the moment may well be the case. Nobody's confirmed what actually happened to Richardson either, so who knows Dong may find his way onto the bench at this rate. Don't really know what to expect from this game after today, we seemed to be waiting for somebody to stick it in the net today, rather than actually trying to do so, if that's the way on Tuesday Milan will coast it. Rooney and Ronaldo need to stand out, as does Giggs. Scholesy has one hell of a lot to prove in this competition still after what happened to him in 99, if he's up for it we're capable of building an advantage in this. Crowd will play a huge part as well, if it's anything like Roma there's an instant advantage for the players, today's atmosphere seemed Nervy and quiet, hopefully it'll be different on Tuesday

Anyone think Gary or Evra will be back for this game? If they're not who are we gonna put on the bench? Kieran Lee, Michael Lea, Richie Eckersley, James Chester? Or do you reckon we would just ram the bench with midfielders and strikers and hope for the best? I suppose someone like Smith might just about be able to fill in at right back or something if necessary.

Aye, many people forget that and I mean if Chelsea were to lose today it'd be regarded as a point gained but enough about the Boro game this is about looking forward to CL football not looking back at a draw with Boro.
Neville should be, fingers crossed, touch wood and all that, back for next Saturday!

4-2 to United, Kaka will cause us some problems, but I expect a couple of late goals against a team closer to grey hair than most others.

I've learned my lesson! I will not make predictions, rather I hope we see a 4-4-2 and a lead after the first leg!
