We needed one of them back, would have loved to have had Rio as I think he would have dealt with Milan quite comfortably but Vidic's a plus too, hopefully he can influence the game and give us added defensive strength and a threat from set pieces. We need big performances from all the lads tonight.

Just got in and really up for this.
I should have been in the pub but that plans gone tits up so it looks like I'm on the cyber terrace tonight.
Hope theres a half decent stream tonight or it could just send me over the edge.

We must win this one. The propspect of Liverpool in the final is just too good. like Red Yank Chelsea just would not be the same. Plus the prospect of playing them 3 times so close you just know there's the chance they'll win which would be too much especially the CL final.
So bring this on . lets do it.

Well to be frank, Ferguson said before we entered Europe this season, this team was built to win the premiership, and in all reality that's what it's just about to do.

The disappointment for me from that game is that we didn't play to our strengths both in formation and personnel due to trying to stifle Milan. Fergie insisted we'd play our game and do things our way, to me that says playing 4-4-2. Going in with 4-3-3 says your trying to stop Milan playing, which is what they tried to do in the first leg, didn't work.

Maybe a little disappointed to have got this far and bottled it again, but the personnel we have weren't brought here for the champions league so i'm pleased we got as far as we did this season. I also think Old Trafford's earnt back some respect from Europe's elite, which is important.

Now to win the league, make the appropriate changes in the summer and push further onwards next season!

We can't play away from home in europe, our whole mentality seems to be wrong going into the games, another impotent performance tonight against a team who were there for the taking if we'd put in a half decent performance, we really were shit though.

I just hope we don't let this affect the rest of our season, there's still work to be done if the other competitions too.

I'm not crying for a change, we've certainly restored our reputation as a Word class club this season. We deserved to lose, Milan totally outclassed us in the 1st half, you can see why the treble has only ever been won once. Not that I'm trying to gloss over the fact some of the performances tonight were absolute shiiite.

The next worst thing to not winning a trophy is Liverpool winning a trophy so good luck Milan in the final.

Sorry but that was another lesson from milan thats 3 lessons out of four games in the last 2/3 years and a last min goal to shade the other game for us we need a top striker and midfielder to compete at the very very top. one possitive they will destroy the scousers.
