Heard a whisper from a source close to the side that Vidic WILL play but Rio won't. I want us to do it the traditional United way and attack them. After all, Celtic held them over 90 minutes and they ain't as good as us.
A draw will do for me but I'd just love the win there.
I post on some of the Liverpool boards as well as United boards and I think - after tonight's result goes our way - we need to establish some level of reasonable contact with the Scousers for discussing the Athens game. Contrary to popular belief, they're not all fucking losers and loonies just as we're not all Manc twats looking for mither.
Yes passions will be high in both camps - is THAT any surprise to anyone? - but the stakes are even higher. Fuck up big time over in Athens and English clubs will be out of European competition for at least 5 years. Isn't that sufficient incentive to make a pact with who you may consider to be the Devil?
You KNOW they'll be having exactly the same thoughts as we are so whaddya say?
I will be posting this on their boards tomorrow once we know for sure.

I decided not to watch a video of the final just yet. A superstition thing. I have done the same on Pro Evolution 6. I beat AC Milan 4-1 this morning. Errr I wish.
According to the BBC website, they have some worker out there who said that Rio would play and Vidic wouldn't. The only person who knows is Fergie and it will probably be a last minute thing. Its a tough call if you had to pick 1, but it depends on there fitness. Based on that, I would go for Vidic.

fucking hell i have not slept in 23 hours...i've got school in 6 hours...only finish school in 13.5 hours...which means i will go 36.5 hours without sleeping. but i've been so buzzed there's no way i could have gone to bed...1 hour more guys! COME ON UNITED!!!!!!!! these are the times i regret not buying a bottle of booze and keeping it in the cupboard...

I so want us to knock them off of their European perch and know that on this occasion they weren't good enough for league OR Europe. If this isn't a huge opportunity to stick it to the scousers I don't know what is! |

Depending on fitness and with Fergie wanting to play just one of Vida or Rio I'd have played Rio. But it's great to have both back in the side.
SkySports are saying there is a "strong possibility" that IF Manchester United make the final it will be held at Wembley, don't know if there's any substance to that but I'd love it!
Anyways folks, I'm off to my dad's house to watch the game will come on later or maybe not depending on result.

I guess Vidic was the more likely to be fit, because he's remained fit (broken collar bone doesn't stop you running) I'm gald he's back, we needed one of them and he always make us look more dangerous at set pieces.
