I see Gattuso is fit to play ,Scholes an Carrick need to be on top form......... And they will be, how fit is Mr. G Gattuso Esquire exactly? Fit to play is enough ,was a different Milan when he went off .. |

Gattuso being fit is massive for them but I do fancy us to score, especially if we play at a high tempo, they have a lot of experience but we have the legs on them and we should finish stronger than them if need be.
We need another big performance from the lads and the result at weekend should help, can't be over confident though as this is Milan away in the champions league, they're gonna make it incredibly hard, fingers crossed Rio's fit.

we will score in this game, it's just a question of how many. we are good enough to win over there, and thats what id love.. to really show the italians this season.. but id take a draw to put us through to the final.

This is going to be massive I can't wait for it, but don't know if anyone took a look at those facts. History doesn't favor us though, but we are never ones to let history get in the way, actually this has been quite a season for firsts if i remember correctly...

We really need to pick up Kaka from midfield. He was left to Hienze and Brown at OT and it didn't work. We started to get into the game more when Gattuso came off. He should play and in th esan siro I can't see us having so much possetion so, we gotta be deadly on the ocunter, and hopefully score first, if we do that we'll go through.

From the messages coming out of the san siro there gonna try and kill us early. At the moment we are probably the best counter attacking side in europe so lets deploy this weapon. I would go for the juggular early and get that first goal. We have to attack and keep the ball because if we sit back and soak without a strong defence were asking for it. If we play a pressing game in our own half we can get the best out of the counters. We need ronaldo to really hug that touch line and use his pace.

There can be no real sitting back because as you pointed out, defensively we're not the strongest we can be. We definitely need the first goal so we can take the wind out of their sails and prevent them from sitting on a lead. Even if they do score first the good thing is they can't really afford to sit on the ball too long because we'll just keep coming at them. |

If you ask me this is going to be a war !!!! Milan HAVE to score - simple as - and to do that they have to come at our boys and thats exactly what this team Fergie has built thrives on. This match is designed for our boys to win it - AND WIN IT WELL !!! They'll come out the starting blocks like a bull at a red rag - and we'll be right back in their faces - if there isn't a goal inside the first 20 minutes I'll be really surprised !!!! As I said in another post somewhere on here - we have only failed to score in 4 of the 55 games we played (I think - maybe 5) - WE WILL SCORE, SO THEY WILL NEED TO SCORE 2, POSSIBLY MORE. Oh yes - I can't wait for this - and at 2/1 to win it - I might invest a few of my hard earned sheckles on our boys from Manchester.
