Alright lads, I know I'm not a senior moderator or member of staff but everyone should chill out. We've had a bad result today and every fan on here is as gutted as the other.
Let's calm down, eh? Leave the petite little arguments and stop disrespecting each other. Differences in opinions will be rife but let's leave the personal attacks for MSN or whatever not this forum!

Just got in. Knackered.
Disappointing.
We won the trophy though, and that's what they wanted, and they would swap their season for ours in a heart beat.

Emotions seem to be running high with some members I found it a very flat performance on the whole; obviously there were some tired legs out there. I watched the game with a bin dipper mate who said it was the most boring FA Cup final he had seen. I couldn't really disagree Some 'pundits' applauded Moanhino's tactics, but I feel tiredness and desire had a say in Man U's performance; some of the players maybe felt they had done their bit by lifting the Premiership trophy last weekend. I don't feel it is fair to criticize players who didn't perform yesterday, as these same players have been LEGENDS throughout the season. In the later stages of the season our defence One thing was clear from yesterday's performance; we need a striker; pumping high balls to Rooney was a poor tactic. If Saha can return to full fitness then great. However, I do think that SAF will off-load Saha to fund the purchase of a new striker. Some have mentioned Rossi returning from Italy to be that 'new' striker. However, the aging legs of Ole (and scholes) will be replaced by Rossi (hopefully). I think we should all be proud of the players and staff this season; Premiership Champions, FA CUP Finalists, and Champions League semi-finalists is not a bad campaign. Do remember that at the start of the season, many so-called experts had us down to battle for 4th place with Spurs.

Did Chelsea deserve their win, No. Did United deserve to win it, No! None of them did, this was an awful game with SAF deciding to go with a defence minded formation against Chelsea's which made for a horrendous spectacle, which played into Mourinhos hands. After watching yesterdays match, two teams deserved to be in the final. Watford and Blackburn because in my opinion it was a dire game that did not have me on the edge of my seat ONCE! I am really disappointed in Fergies tactics because i feel if we went with the 4-4-2 formation, with Smudger and Rooney up front from the start we could and would have won that game. Fletcher, though he did played amazing against Roma and Milan was definately back to his infuriating best, misplacing 10 yard passes, letting people by with not even a challenge, jesus he looked fucked after 20 minutes, i was screaming to get Smudger on. Three players stood out for me was Wes Brown, what a player, does not give a fuck gets stuck in and injured Robben to, powerful game, Vida is a legend, dominated Drogba and Rooney what energy what determination, if only he could have hit Ronaldo, Giggs and Fletcher a boot in the fucking hole and told them to wake up!. But still, all in all our season was a success, WE GOT OUR TROPHY BACK, and lets build on this for next season. Champions.

Score #thumb# It's been a great season really and we should not loose track of what the team has acheived. Sure yesterday finishes the season on a low. Bur we are the champions......and dont let yesterday spoil that ! I look forward to some quality signings this summer......

Two knackered teams, a game of one chance each, they took theres we missed ours, thats it. No need to be slagging anyone off, the team have done wonders this season with the weakest squad of the top three, we need a top class striker this is glaringly obvious and has been for 2 seasons, if we put this right in the summer then we will be so much stronger, the player i felt sorry for was scholes yesterday, he played his heart out alongside 2 lightweights in our midfield.
I have just read the comments by legends that have caused so much trouble, I have to say he is right about giggs on the day, he is only saying what everone else was saying, I can remember the run off rooney when giggs offered no support and at the time everyone was going mad, all them stupid flicks that gave possesion away were causing uproar as well, you are spot on about the chance he missed but surely legends as poor as he was theres no need to crucify him, the bloke has done plenty for utd over his career and he has played some fantastic games the one that sticks in my mind is the one against juve at OT when he took them apart playing on the left

Scholes was outstanding yesterday and for me he was man of the match. Vidic was excellent too and he didn't give Drogba an inch. When he scored, Rio was with him. Now I'm not saying it was Rio's fault, but maybe he could of put more pressure on. Never mind though. Can't do anything about it now. It could of gone either way and we were pretty equal. It hurts now, but in a few days we will put the season in perspective and realise that we have had a bloody good season. Its a shame that the treble talk has ended in one trophy, but its the most important one and for me, the team is still in a transitional period and what a period it is. We have got a good team and in the future it can only get better.

After reading many comments on this forum i can only accept the critics. I must say that i am with the people on this forum who have criticised players for not showing up in the F.A cup final. Thier's this guy on here with -30 Reputation but for once i have to agree with him and all he said about Giggs. After the match i was so pissed and the only two players i thought about were Rooney and Giggs. Giggs was absymal today and the worse thing was that he was our captain. I ain't going to point out where he let us down because there are too many things to say about his negative effect on united today. However Rooney on the other was awesome. He was probably the only player on the pitch along side Scholes to play their heart out. Rooney was the only player who made me stand up with those two blistering runs that he made. Ronaldo's contract should not have been offered before the end of the season. He had two or three good spells with the ball but he didn't live up to his premiership player of the year award.
Why we changed our tactics to stop Chelsea playing their game realy did surprise me. Hargreaves will be a great addition if we are to chase the tile next year.

At the end of the first half I started getting that sinking feeling they would get a last minute goal and win it as they've done throughout the season. I didn't feel like we were robbed or anything even remotely like that, things went the way they went and that was the end of that. The problem with Legends7 is the way he makes personal attacks against people who may happen to disagree with his opinion. I didn't think Giggs played particularly well and has had his bad spells throughout the season, but when someone disagrees he begins calling people names and that just isn't in the spirit of this forum. I love spirited debate but so long it's with a healthy respect for another person's view point.
