Not being Mr negative here but i reckon this will be a draw,i think the season will kick off for us against Citeh.Get Evra back to left back,playing players out of position in the past has back fired on us big time .. I agree with you there mate. I reckon we're really gunna have a tough game, and I wouldn't be surprised if we only got a draw there. |

I just hope we're really concentrated for this one. Twice in the last 4 seasons we've been ambushed here so we really should know what to expect. Really tight game but I think Tevez will score for us in a 2-1 win.

I can't see anything other than a United win.
They always perform best under pressure, Pompey will be no different. There's an aweful lot of pressure and criticism heading their way should this be anything other than a win.
3-1 United win with a fighting performance.
Nani to start in place of Silvestre, Tevez alongside Giggs, Anderson on the bench with Hargreaves to come off the bench if all's not well at half time. ;D

I hate this game, Portsmouth away. It's become something of a nightmare game for us over the last 3-4 seasons. I just hope we can end our relative goalscoring drought. We've only scored 2 goals in our last 7 games you know.

As far as I'm concerned I would even consider Campbell upfront! As long as we have our colors around those Defenders (unlike the past given Sunday, but what I heard from Fergie points to a lone Tevez upfront)

i really want anderson and hargreaves to start against pompey, we needed a player like hargreaves away at pompey last season, and it will be the same this year, anderson would be the extra touch up front, we have lack of the finishing quality anderson and tevez will add that...cant wait!

This is a very tough match, and we have a crappy record at pompey but i am backing us to end that..........were up against a tough organized team with a manager who knows how to stop us and a crowd who will give it all to cheer pompey on.......
