this game is real big now.. city in good form, we cant afford to drop points at the council house.. the atmosphere will be hostile for their ' cup final' and the scum will think they can cause an upset! An early goal is just what we need!

Can't wait for Sunday now! Hopefully it will be a good game, the atmosphere is going to be great... we simply need to win. I've been to the last few Derby's at Shitlands so hopefully we'll win and shut those Munich chanting cunts up again like last season!

The Manchester Derby hasn't been as important as it used to be, Just not the same because well, City have bee fucking shite. Got a feeling this one will be explosive though. I expect a real fight from our lads, and I hope Hargreaves starts. Does anyone know the situation regarding Owen, is he fit for Sunday? Bit worrying that he wasn't even on the bench at Pompey.

saha has to be at least on the bench if he's training again cos we need an old fashioned centre forward to put the ball in the onion bag, if he can't make it why not stick frazier campbell on the bench, cos we will create chances but can we put them away

Citeh will be full of confidence after their results and the fact we've only been able to manage draws. I expect them to try and stifle us then attempt to get us on the counter because Sven tends to be defensive minded and he knows we can dominate a match. This will be the toughest derby in a while I expect but hope we can get the win, another draw will make a comeback even harder.

I would like to see Nani start on teh bench tbh. I don't think he's ready to start a big game like this. I would like to see Saha play but it's not going to happen that quickly.
I would start with 5 across the middle.

Atleast then that gives us a solid base in what should be a tough battle. Then if we're lacking creativity we can look to Anderson and Nani on the bench rather than Oshea again.

i agree supatrice but i would much rather rifle out of the blocks, get the goals early then use a solid base and counter, cos i don't want us to be looking for the winner again late on like in the past games, hargreaves needs to start to bring reassurance to midfield and we can build of him

I wonder if City's 9+ new players will be ready for a Derby of this intensity  Evra certainly wasn't on his debut and Sven can hardly get a newly formed defense to block us out for 90 minutes, they barely know each other. Would be nice to see Hargreaves, Anderson or one of the lads returning from injury on the bench, as long as we're not reliant on O'Shea to play up top again in order to win the game, should be ok. |
