why are people blaming the ref? iirc, we injured a few of there players so we should of been getting a few more yellows Falling down on the floor does not equal being injured.

now ladies and gents, i said in wednesday that there is no need to panic, and ranted on about coming out fighting and it would come eventually, today i did not come im afraid. But my theories still stand. We will go on a run, that i am very confident off. Now there is somewhat a need to worry, not panic as such but be slightly worried, well more than slightly. We have two home games in a row that We NEED to win. If We do not win both then im afraid that my optimism will be very very very drained. But i think we will wi nthem both. Today we we're not unlucky as such. we only have ourselves to blame. We had city by the throat in the first 30 minutes and its frightening how well we played yet we did not score. ONE thing that is very very worrying is this 'reocurring' trend in the last 3 matches. The one we we are on top but cannot capitalize on it. Its worrying because if it continues we are in serious serious trouble.Fergie needs to stop this trend from becoming permanent. All said and done it was a bad bad performance today. But im still confident we will win this title. Keep the faith people and get behind united!
United's flag is deepest red, It shrouded all our Munich dead, Before their limbs grew stiff and cold, Their heart's blood dyed it's ev'ry fold.
Then raise United's banner high, Beneath it's shade we'll live and die, So keep the faith and never fear, We'll keep the Red Flag flying here.
We'll never die, we'll never die, We'll never die, we'll never die, We'll keep the Red flag flying high, 'Cos Man United will never die

Upsides: - Hargreaves looked well good. - There are still 35 games to go. - We kept incredible possession. - We created chances. - Giggs actually took a couple of decent cornerns. Downsides: - We lost. - We couldn't take advantage of our possession. - We lost. - We couldn't score despite good chances. - We lost. - We miss a proper captain. - We lost. - We played the better football most of the time, and still couldn't win. - We lost to fucking city. I'm pissed off, I'm sad, and I will be for a few days. But we will bounce back. We HAVE TO bounce back. We're United and We'll NEVER die[/u] U-N-I-T-E-D, UNITED ARE THE TEAM FOR ME! WITH A KNICK KNACK, PADDYWACK, GIVE A DOG A BONEEEEEEEE, WHY DON'T CITY FUCK OFF HOME. We can still do it. Never lose faith. [/quote] #thumb#

every season we need a wake up call, and this despite it being one hell of one, is just that. Let's hope the players react in the best possible way; a win

we miss more players in box, we try to much from crosses but we have only tevez in box Boss praises Reds Sir Alex cut a bemused figure after Sunday's 1-0 loss to Manchester City and said it's now imperative United beat Spurs at Old Trafford next weekend.
Like many Reds fans, the boss couldn't understand how United lost a game in which their opponents had been so poor.
"I don't know how many corner kicks we had or how much possession we had, but I do know we had clear-cut chances throughout the match, even in the first 10 minutes," Ferguson said.
"We really should have sewn the game up even before they'd crossed the halfway line. We've only got ourselves to blame – let's make no mistake about that."
At Eastlands, like at Old Trafford on the opening day of the season and at Fratton Park four days ago, United failed to convert chances. The Reds are now without a win from the first three league games, a string of results that represents United's worst start in the Premier League since 1991/92.
The manner in which the team are playing, however, continues to impress Sir Alex.
"You look around that field and there's not one bad performer. Everyone played his part. At this moment in time we'll use our experience to make sure we don't get carried away and have a knee-jerk reaction to it. What we do need, of course, is a win and we've got a home game against Tottenham next week."
United went into the derby without Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, but the manager was adamant their absence had nothing to do with Sunday's result.
"On the evidence of today it's quite obvious [we didn't miss them]. I thought we were absolutely outstanding and completely dominated the game. But you have to say, with all these chances, we have to take one or two at least.
"We've given ourselves an uphill fight; I don't think there's any question of that. Over the past few years we've always been able to overcome these things and we'll have to do that again."
