Ok now here we go, we have one week rest. In our last three matches we have drawn two and lost one. There is no way this time round that we come out of the match with a negative result. I'm 100% sure we are going to kick their arse to kick start our season. The return and debut of Owen Hargreaves gives United supporters reason to be optimistic after Rooney broke a bone in his foot and Ronaldo having been sent off against Portsmouth for an alleged headbutt on Hughes. It is highly possible that the newcomers, Nani and Tevez will start again to fill in for Ronaldo and Rooney. The surprise appearance of Hargreaves in the Manchester Derby may be followed by another surprising appearance by the likes of Saha or Neville.
The home encounter against Tottenham will prove to be a fiesty one as both sides have struggled for points in recent games.
Here is my team: .................................VDS.................................
O'shea*.........Ferdinand(C)......Vidic.........Evra
..............................Hargreaves.......................
..................Scholes...................Carrick..............
Nani...........................................................Giggs
..................................Tevez*...............................
Subs: Kuzsckak Brown Eagles Fletcher Saha
*Brown or O'shea but i think O'shea can cross better, just my prsonal view. *If saha is fit then Saha ahead of Tevez, if not then Good luck to Tevez.

Spot on with the team but i would play Brown ahead of O'shea and i doubt Saha will be fit. Good call with Rio as the captain I’ve been saying that for ages when Nev isn’t fit Rio should be the captain, he shows commitment, passion and drive when he plays you could see that on Sunday while Giggs is to quiet in my opinion.

Heard they may leave it til the last minute to decide on Hargreaves. hopefully he'll be there and it was made to sound worst so he didn't play for England.

I think this match will be a turning point one way or another, I hope it's for the better though because a loss or a draw won't do much for the team's confidence. David Gill's team selection seems pretty sound though I too would opt for Brown ahead of O'Shea. It would be nice if Saha plays but who knows when he's going to play again.

Hope Van der Sar will be fit for this. Don't particularly want Tomasz in goal for this one.
Must win.

Before the game I have to climb the equivelent of Mount Everest. Im in North stand tier 3. Right bloody treck. Im not gonna be hungover for this one though.
Should be a good game and we have to get 3 points. Once we get one win under our belts, we won't stop. Trust me on that one. Once Tevez opens his account, watch out Premiership! He has impressed me a little in his first 2 games. Bear in mind he has been lumbered with the responsibilty of scoring the goals with very little match action.

Yep agreed. We win this one and that'll get the ball rolling. Tevez's movement is excellent but he does look a bit short of pace. I hope this improves but I dont think he'll ever be the fatest. really looking forward to seeing a partnership between him and Rooney. But alas, I'm gonna have to wait for that.

Berbatov will be fit.. that's a blow I like Berbatov and I'd rather he would be playing with us, not against us...lol. I'm going to watch this match without the expectation of anything and hope the players can remove the pressure and just focus on playing a great match of football. I get more nervous when I see the players getting frantic and losing their composure, and it's composure we'll need.
