Berbatov will be fit.. that's a blow I like Berbatov and I'd rather he would be playing with us, not against us...lol. I'm going to watch this match without the expectation of anything and hope the players can remove the pressure and just focus on playing a great match of football. I get more nervous when I see the players getting frantic and losing their composure, and it's composure we'll need. Expectation usually brings pain tbh.. Last season I expected us to give Milan a game... Expected a good start to this season.. Think I'll join you in your non expectancy!

I thought it was pretty certain that Berbatov will miss this game, actually. According to most sites and papers. Where did you hear different?

I want Berbatov to play, we need to play against a good team and win to know exactly where we stand. We need to beat them while they've got Berbatov on the pitch. I'm pretty confident Saha will start along side Tevez. And if that is the case then one of the midfield trio will have to warm the bench.
I forgot to put a prediction. I'm guessing United will win 3-1. Spurs to score first and United to come from behind.

I like 3-1 to Utd too. Spurs central defence is terrible. We can score against these guys, no problem. I'd love an early goal though!

yeah i too hope van der sar is fit, but i do believe that tevez will score, i think the spurs defence will be too open and tevez scholes nani and giggs will be able to find too much possession, hopefully we find some sweet passes and get a few goals, we are definitely capable of it!! plus it would be nice to see saha, hargreaves and anderson feature in this match, even if only for the last ten minutes!!

Well we know one thing, Tottenham have a similar tradition and attitude to us, the only way of playing is attacking. They cannot play boring football and they are up there with us with there Attacking Ethos. They obviously dont attack as well as us. There defence has always leaked goals, and i think we could get a few on sunday. But then again it could be a bore draw, you just dont know what to think at the moment. At least we know that they also need to win and they will hopefully attack us.

Chris. enjoy the trek. last season. I was 3 rows from the back in the North stand. the atmostshere/ singing was great and non stop.
Just got our tickets( having been told we didn't get any in the ballot and saw there were some available on tuesday. )
Anyway we're in E 334. Last season Reading FA cup we were in the East stand Tier 1 and the atmostshere was really poor in comparison. We could hear more from the away fans above us. Hopefully this Sunday will be much better. We are certainly up for it! #ninjaaa# #ninjaaa# #ninjaaa#

Is Saha fit? I can't see him playing.
Anyone know anything we don't ? Is he training yet? According to Physioroom:

i am very optimistic about this one, in first two games spurs were shite and beat poor derby 4-0 so they could get in this match confident but if we stick our play and hope to play same team as a against citeh, hope hargreaves plays, we will win dont care about result, we need win so even 1-0 will be great for us

Lucky we are playing Spurs could of been someone tough like Fulham,so going for a convicing win 1-0 ... if u look at it, we have had a tough time against spurs at home rather than away, and fulham we have had a tough time away but at home a real good. but hey what do i know about the future... we can make it 4-0, we have the ability, but we cant take anything away from spurs who have a great team. but i really think this is a game we can take more out of, because now we will have a far more open game than the reading and shiteh game, there wont be 11 men behind the ball.

I heard a rumour that Saha will be fit for Sunday's game, hope it's true. I think we stand a real good chance of getting a win on Sunday. Losing to Citeh was a kick up the backside & I think we will be looking to prove a point & give someone a battering and if Robinson plays like he did for England last night we shouldn't have a problem scoring! I'm not lucky enough to be there but I hope all the fans are vocal in their support to spur the boys on as I believe it makes a big difference.
Prediction: 2-0, Tevez, Saha if he plays, if not then Scholes.

Kuscszak Brown Ferdinand Vidic Evra Carrick Scholes Giggs Hargreaves/O'shea (is Owen fit after missing england) Tevez Eagles
I think Saha is more likely to be on the bench, we don't want him to start then after 5 minutes him unjured he'd more important to us in the long run and if that team isn't capable of making amends for 3 dire results then we aren't worthy contenders for the league I don't care who we're playing, even if it was Chelsea I'd expect a win after 3 games without a win.
Heaton O'Shea/Hargreaves Fletcher Nani Saha

This is my first game of the season. Is there normally a good atmosphere against Spurs?
